Story
Su Xun worked hard
Su Xun was a famous litterateur in the Song Dynasty and one of the eight great writers of the Tang and Song Dynasties. He was very playful when he was a child, but he didn't realize the importance of reading until he was 27 years old. From then on, he began to study hard and seize all the time to study. One year during the Dragon Boat Festival, Su Xun read in the study since he got up in the morning. His wife brought a plate of rice dumplings and a plate of sugar into the study. Around noon, when the lady was clearing away the dishes, she found that the rice dumplings had been eaten, but the sugar in the dish was still intact, and there were a lot of glutinous rice grains on the inkstone next to it. It turned out that Su Xun was only concentrating on studying and mistakenly mistaken the inkstone for a sugar dish. It is precisely with this spirit of seriousness and hard work that Su Xun became a literary master.
