The last time I read it was a week ago. I can't remember many details clearly, and I can only make some rough analysis of the prominent plots and characters. 1. Ye Wenjie. A very sympathetic person. If she knew what happened after Cheng Xin became the sword holder, and if she knew that the Trisolarans wanted to turn human society into a cannibal society, would she still have emitted that radio wave? Speaking of cannibalism...it seems that some places in the south eat children. Even the foreigners who work here mentioned it to me. Humans are originally animals, and their animal nature has not been eliminated, so they can do many things that beasts can do; and because they have the ability to think, they can do things that even animals cannot do. Ye Wenjie's disappointment in human nature is of course understandable. (I think of a word, cannibal, which means cannibal. Isn’t today’s society a cannibal society?) 2. Wu Yue. He is undoubtedly talented. He graduated from a foreign military academy, returned to China to serve as a pilot, and was then transferred to the Space Force. He is truly a pillar of the country. It's a pity that he is not as smart as Zhang Beihai. As a soldier, his purpose is to win the war. I cannot agree with this argument. When he finally appeared in front of Hines and wanted to put his ideological stamp on it, it gave people a very complicated feeling. First of all, do people who have no faith necessarily have no faith? Even if you don't have the belief that you will win, you can still have the belief that you will lose, and therefore do something within your ability, like Zhang Beihai did. I guess the author set up this character mainly to make him a representative of defeatists and show what it is like to be a person without faith and belief under conditions of inevitable defeat; and also to contrast with Zhang Beihai. Since he has no hope of victory, why can't he be an escapeist? It's impossible for someone like him to think of it. But a novel is a novel after all. 3. Zhuang Yan. Ancillary roles. It’s just that she’s too perfect not to mention. I think there is always a perfect person somewhere in the world. Even if we can't meet him in real life, that person exists and is a living person, not just a figment in a novel. But it is really difficult to find this person. If Luo Ji wasn't in that position, he could only imagine it in his mind. 4. Zhang Beihai. He is my favorite character. Be a real man. Not to mention the things he did that can only be looked up to and admired. Let’s just talk about what happened after the establishment of Starship Earth. He must have known what would happen, but like several captains who committed suicide, he still subconsciously chose to destroy himself. By destroying himself, he retained his humanity as a human being, but at the same time lost his life. Some people may refute: He was already preparing to kill people on other ships! But please think about it, he already knew what would happen when Starship Earth was established, why didn't he take action? Only when Dongfang Yanxu couldn't do it, he chose to do it himself. The main reason he delayed the attack was to let others on board the Natural Selection attack. But his words "all the same" before his death show that he would rather die than lose a little bit of his humanity, even if retaining his humanity means death, and he can continue to live even if he becomes "non-human". Does he have faith? No. I think the author Liu must also be a materialist. Only a materialist could write a book like The Three-Body Problem that does not have any soft religious overtones at all. The faith mentioned here refers to the so-called belief in the other side, which is a belief used to explain what will happen after death. What Zhang Beihai has is faith. Although faith only guides people's lives, its power is also very powerful. Isn’t the belief of the ancients just the so-called “to establish a heart for the heaven and earth, to establish a destiny for the people, to carry forward the sage’s teachings, and to create peace for all generations.” Whether Zhang Beihai or the ancient sages, they all relied on their faith to achieve great success. In today's China, faith and belief have been lost. A very sad thing. 5. Vader. Speaking of Zhang Beihai, I always think of Wade first. This man who is called a murderer, like Zhang Beihai, retains something, or in other words, "has something to rely on." Why say this? Once he made a vow, he would never go back on anything. Even if keeping the oath means losing one's life and all hope for humanity. From this point of view, he must be a self-centered person, and may even be an idealist. "I think, therefore I am" may be one of his basic beliefs. Because the first thing he thinks of is not to exceed his own standards, and that standard is reflected in this place by abiding by the oath. As I write this, I think that Zhang Beihai is luckier than Wade. When he sticks to what he has in his heart, he has to pay far less than Wade. Yes, Zhang Beihai also gave his life. But in order to stick to himself, Vader took on the entire human race. When he was in jail, Cheng Xin visited him and gave him a cigar. He said, "Thank you for the cigar." He wasn't excited or cursed. Could he be incapable of hatred, or not at all? I think it's the latter. He is a self-centered person, and even if the human race perishes, it cannot diminish the greatness of self in his heart. In his eyes, humans are the ones who need saving, they are his kind, but not him. He is who he is, nothing but him. The most important thing to Wade is to be yourself. Besides, the responsibility was not his, he just kept his promise. Then I thought of the words "I will keep this promise to you for the rest of my life", and I couldn't help but feel a little cold. If Zhang Beihai were in Wade's position, what choice would he make? Hard to say. But I'm more inclined to think that he will choose humans.
Both Zhang Beihai and Wade are people who are willing to kill for the sake of humanity, but I think most readers will understand them and pay them the highest respect. 6. Cheng Xin. I cao. These two words are probably the first reaction of all readers. She first killed her heart, the heart of the man who loved him most. The second was to twice destroy all hope for mankind. In the end, it may destroy the hope of the entire universe. What's even more confusing is that she actually hooked up with a man she only knew for a few days (even if he was one of the few men in the universe!). When I read The Three-Body Problem for the first time, I felt nothing but resentment towards her. And I also speculated on the underlying reason why Da Liu created this character: Could it be that Da Liu had been hurt by such a woman before? (Looks like I was a bit too nosy) Later I felt that Da Liu might just want Cheng Xin to represent some of the weaknesses of human beings. For example, untimely weakness, untimely kindness, untimely insistence on one's own opinion, untimely choice of fairness and justice, untimely selfishness, untimely puberty, etc. Of course, the key point lies in the four words "untimely". Cheng Xin is a gentle, beautiful, kind-hearted person who is neither dissolute, selfish nor annoying. Readers should fight against Da Liu together: Boss, why do you make her so annoying, even to the point of making people unable to read. Or is Liu promoting a totalitarian and bestial ideology? ——In times of crisis, human kindness is worthless? Well, that's how it is. Da Liu's idea is correct. 7. Luo Ji. He is a powerful man. But it is his early life that is most fascinating. Use all the resources around you to make your life better. His life logic is worth learning. This character continues to grow in the book, which shows the author's skill. Luo Ji's experience also shows that on the historical stage, when crisis comes and opportunities mature, ordinary people can grow into heroes. There is a seed in everyone's heart to become a hero. What we shed is the blood of heroes. 8.ETO. The abbreviation of Trisolaris Earth Organization. What makes people wonder is why the disappointment with human beings becomes the motivation to welcome the Trisolarans? I understand Ye Wenjie, she is an anti-human person. What I can't figure out are Evans, Mozi, von Neumann, Yamasugi Keiko and others. They call the Trisolarans "lords", so it can be judged that they all have no religious beliefs. It's just that they are so pious to the Trisolarans, which is hard to understand. Can Trisolarans really improve human society? Let’s see what the Trisolarans did after the threat was lifted! If not, why not be an anti-human person and buy nuclear weapons to blow up the earth? Can't make the move? Then go and welcome the Trisolarans? How could a smart guy like Evans be so whimsical? Oh, maybe Evans thinks the Trisolarans will destroy humanity even more completely. Then he really made his wish come true, although it was not the Trisolarans who helped him realize it. But if he lives to the end of the Weird Years and sees an era of absolute democracy and excellent welfare, will his thoughts change? 9. Starship Earth. The so-called "economic base determines the superstructure." This sentence is absolutely true! When people's living environment changes, they quickly become another type of person, or "non-human". The citizens of the first generation of Starship Earth must have retained some of the weaknesses of Earth humans, but after a few generations, they would all have evolved into another type of human being. They must also be as ruthless as the Trisolarans. If forced by conditions, it will certainly require another creature to eat its own kind after the Great Migration. Therefore, human kindness and weakness are actually determined by a relatively suitable living environment. 10. Singer. For them, cleaning is a lowly, unimportant job. For humans, the power they possess is the power of gods. If I traveled back in time to ancient times, flying a plane and carrying all kinds of modern equipment, I would definitely be regarded as a god. If there is a two-dimensional world, then as a three-dimensional creature, I must be a god-like existence to a two-dimensional creature. There are only laws in the universe, and there is no God. How does God know that there is no higher God above Him? Although I subjectively hope that "god" exists. But I still have to accept this fact. There are other figures, such as Shi Qiang, several Wall Facers, and later candidates for the Wall Facers. The most impressive one is the Russian general in his forties, who rose to the rank of deputy commander of the Baltic Navy. Today he is No more analysis one by one. But I want to say that no matter how awesome you are, you still can't escape your fate in the end. Moreover, the gap between people is really too big. This gap will always exist. We should just be ourselves. PS: From the perspective of other creatures in the universe, what is the difference between us and bugs? If the difference between us and other intelligent creatures in the universe really reaches the "gate" level, then it would be strange if they didn't come to eat us. Humans of different species still kill each other, not to mention creatures that are so different. In addition, the earth has existed for so many years, it is impossible for there to be only one kind of intelligent life called human beings. Those that preceded humans were probably extinct.
