Ju Bo despised life and valued righteousness
There was a scholar named Xun Ju Bo in the Han Dynasty. Because his friend was seriously ill, he came all the way to visit his friend. Unfortunately, a group of barbarian robbers came to the place where his friends lived to steal property, and everyone in the village ran away. His friend advised Jubo Xun: "It's too dangerous here, please leave quickly!" Jubo Xun said: "I have come all the way to visit and take care of you, how can I leave you? I can't do such a morally corrupt thing." p>
Jubo Xun walked outside the house and said to the robbers: "My friend is sick. I can't bear to leave him. I would rather trade my life for my friend's life!" Because he was sincere, moral, and could not bear to abandon him. Fearing life and death, even the robbers were moved by it. The bandit leader said to his accomplices: "We are all unjust people, how can we come to rob this righteous place?" Then he ordered all the robbers to withdraw. Jubo Xun's righteousness resolved this disaster.
Zigong observes filial piety
The ancients called the five kinds of human relations between monarch and minister, father and son, brothers, husband and wife, and friends the "Five Ethics". In addition to the "Five Ethics" relationship, there is another very important relationship, that is, the teacher-student relationship. In ancient times, people respected teachers very much. As the saying goes, "Once a teacher, always a father." Therefore, the teacher-student relationship is equally important as the father-son relationship. In ancient times, teachers’ funerals were followed by three years of mourning, exactly the same as for parents.
Confucius taught all his life. When he passed away, the students were so grateful for their teacher's kindness that they built a shed next to the teacher's tomb and observed mourning for three years. One of the students stayed there for six years, Zigong. Because when the Master died, Zigong was doing business in other countries. When he came back, the funeral had already ended. Zigong felt very sorry. After observing filial piety for three years, he added three more years, making it a full six years. Regarding teachers, Zigong believed that this should be the case.

Yangzuo Zhiyi
In the Spring and Autumn Period, the King of Chu Yuan respected Confucianism and Taoism and recruited talented people. Talents from all over the world heard about it and returned .
There was a sage Zuo Botao from Jishi Mountain in Western Qiang. His parents died when he was young. He studied hard and had the talent to help the world and the ambition of peace of the people, but he never became an official. Later, I heard that King Muren of the Chu Yuan Dynasty was seeking wise men for his righteousness. Zuo Botao took a bag of books, said goodbye to his neighbors and friends in his hometown, and rushed to the Chu Kingdom. When I came to Yongdi after a meandering journey, it was a severe winter, with falling rain and snow, a biting cold wind, and Zuo Botao's clothes were completely soaked.
It was getting late, and he saw a little light coming from the hut in the bamboo forest in the distance. Bo Tao was overjoyed and hurriedly ran to the hut and knocked on the door to ask for shelter. Unexpectedly, the owner of the house is also a scholar named Yang Jiao'ai. His parents died when he was young, so he had to study all his life and determined to serve the country and save the people. The two had a very good conversation. It can be said that they hated each other so late that they became sworn brothers with different surnames.
Zuo Botao saw that Yang Jiaoai was talented and knowledgeable, so he persuaded him to go to Chu State to seek employment. Yang Jiaoai also had this idea, so he took some dry food and went to Chu State together. . We stayed overnight at dawn, but saw that we were running out of dry food and it was snowing heavily, making the road difficult to walk. Zuo Botao thought to himself that if this small amount of dry food could feed one person, he could barely reach the state of Chu.
He knew that his knowledge was not as profound as that of Yang Jiao Ai, so he was willing to sacrifice himself to fulfill Yang Jiao Ai's future. After thinking about it, he deliberately fell to the ground and asked Yang Jiaoai to help him move a big stone to sit on and rest. By the time Yang Jiao Ai brought the big stone, Zuo Botao had stripped naked and was lying naked on the snow. He was so cold that he could only breathe. Yang Jiao Ai howled loudly. Zuo Botao asked him to put on his clothes, take away the dry food, and continue to go to the Chu Kingdom to seek employment. He will die as soon as he finishes speaking.
According to the plan, the king of Yuan Dynasty was overjoyed. He worshiped the sheep's horn and became a great official. He was given a hundred taels of gold and a hundred bolts of silk and satin. Yangjiao abandoned his official position and went to look for Zuo Botao's body. After the search, Yang Jiao Ai bathed Zuo Bo in peach-flavored soup, chose an auspicious place for burial, and left to guard the tomb.
Unexpectedly, this place is not far from Jing Ke’s tomb. According to legend, Jing Ke failed to assassinate the King of Qin, and the elves did not disperse after his death. One night, Yang Jiao Ai dreamed that Zuo Bo Tao came with wounds all over his body, telling him about Jing Ke's brutality. After Yang Jiao'ai woke up. He picked up his sword and went to Zuo Botao's grave and said, "Jing Ke is hateful. My brother can't defeat him alone. Let my younger brother help you." After that, he committed suicide. That night, there was a violent storm, thunder and lightning, and the faint sound of shouting for death could be heard. At dawn, it was discovered that Jing Ke's grave had exploded.
After the news was known to King Chu Yuan, he felt the importance of their loyalty and built a loyalty temple for them, with a stele recording the incident, which is still popular today.
