Story/Character Background (including spoiler): Roque and his "Ghost Team" had an accident while performing their duties. Rock unfortunately disappeared, and other "ghost" members decided that he was dead after searching for weeks without results. But Roark survived and was captured by the South American Union (the terrorist organization in the game). After experiencing an unknown story, Roark found his new enemy.

But at the end of the mission, the hero's comrade-in-arms died in a ruthless war, and his father was Jonathan irons, the boss of the world's largest private mercenary group. In the pain of losing his only son, he decided to bring peace to the world in another way.
