The Tibetan term for Buddha

The Tibetan word "sang-gye" (sang-gye) is used to refer to "Buddha". "Sang" means "to be clarified" or "to be purified". If the room is stuffy and stuffy, "Sang" means opening all the doors and windows to let out the stuffy air. Because of habitual patterns, you want to stay in your neuroticism. "Sang" means overcoming the looseness that comes from habitual patterns, overcoming the "I" or "self".

"Jie" means "expand", "bloom", "brilliant" or "expand". After overcoming the problem of taming the ego, you have actually become free of that problem. It's like a positive divorce. If your marriage is extremely unhappy and you feel trapped, then once you break up, you will feel free. "Je" is related to Vipassana's principle of feeling things as they really are, appropriately and completely. It is also an aspect of the Buddha and signifies constant love and support in your efforts to escape this world.

In summary, "Buddha" or "Sangye" both mean awakening and expansion. Sanjay means that you are expanding your horizons and perspectives while also helping others. Gradually you are cleared of all nervousness and therefore you are expanding. "Sang" corresponds to Samatha, and "Jie" corresponds to Vipassana. "Sang" means awakening, and "Jie" means the fruit of awakening. This awakening comes from sitting in meditation. During meditation, various discriminating thoughts and mental images arise from habitual patterns. Through meditation you overcome all these and experience openness. You are no longer trapped and gradually open up. This is the spirit of "Buddha" or "Sangye". It applies to us and is also the principle of Buddha.

"Jie" is related to "all places" or the senses. Through awareness and mindfulness, your eyes, ears, nose, smell, tongue, body touch, and thoughts are connected. They are no longer controlled by these places, but become aware of them. You are detached from everything, yet very sensitive to them. You use them as they are, as machines of feeling and vehicles of mindfulness, but you are not obsessed with them.

In the process of practicing zazen and awareness, when you hear a sound, that sound is not created by preconceptions; it is simply a sound. The sound has emptiness, but it is also full and complete; it is there, but it is not there either. It takes a little effort to figure this out at first. You can't just listen to the voice, the voice can also speak, as if you have a new parrot. In terms of perceiving a sound as being both there and not there, it is there because you heard it and it is not there because you were absent-minded. Because of your absent-mindedness, when you look up at the blue sky, you may see that the sky is pink. However, if you communicate with reality as it is, then hot is hot, cold is cold, black is black, white is white, reality is reality, your thoughts are thoughts, your breath is breath, your posture It's the posture, and the pain in your spine and butt is real pain. That perception comes from sitting in meditation.
