Essay format requirements: Punctuation marks need to be placed independently. Many candidates habitually place punctuation marks in the lower right corner of a sentence. In fact, this format is wrong.
In fact, punctuation marks are also an independent part of the argumentative sentence, occupying a separate grid. The most commonly used punctuation marks are commas, periods, question marks, exclamation marks, colons, pauses, semicolons and other symbols that all occupy separate spaces. Dashes, ellipses, quotation marks, book titles, parentheses and other double punctuation marks all occupy double spaces.
It must be noted that although the double punctuation mark occupies two grids, it must be written as a whole. If it is these two special cases, special handling is required. If you need to add punctuation marks except for these three situations after writing the text in the last frame, you must mark it in the lower right corner of the word. Under normal circumstances, dashes and ellipses should occupy two spaces. If the punctuation mark is written at the end, then only one space is required and do not separate them.

Numbers with less than 2 digits occupy a separate space, and numbers with more than 2 digits occupy one space. For example, in 2021, 20 occupies one space. 21 occupies one space. The same applies to numbers with odd digits, such as 20,000. This number needs to occupy three spaces. The number 0 in the last space must be written on the top space, and the remaining positions are empty, and so on. Whatever the case, if a number appears as a whole, it must maintain formal integrity and be written together without being separated in between.
If you write an answer, the answer and the following colon each occupy one space. Be sure to write it in the top space, and leave two spaces for the following paragraphs. If you do not write an answer, the opening line format must be aligned with the subsequent paragraph opening lines. The title only needs to be written in the middle, and there is no need to worry about the number of spaces before and after. If there is a subtitle, you can write a dash in a new line with two spaces below the main title, and then write the subtitle. It should be noted that the main and subtitles should be written as a whole in the middle.
