Ouyang Xiu called Ou Su one of the "Eight Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties"; Poetry is fresh and vigorous, making good use of exaggeration and metaphor, and its artistic expression is unique. Together with Huang Tingjian, they are called Su Huang. The uninhibited school has a great influence on later generations, and it is called Su Xin with Xin Qiji. He is the author of The Complete Works of Su Dongpo and Dongpo Yuefu.
