Zhang Zhidong (September 2, 1837 - October 4, 1909), named Xiaoda and Xiangtao, was the governor at the time and was called "Shuai", so everyone at that time called him "Zhang Xiangshuai" was a famous official in the late Qing Dynasty and a representative figure of the Westernization faction in the Qing Dynasty. Zhang Heng (78-139), courtesy name Pingzi, was born in Xi'e County, Nanyang County (now Shiqiao Town, Nanyang City, Henan Province). An outstanding astronomer, mathematician, inventor, geographer, and writer during the Eastern Han Dynasty, he was the grandson of Zhang Kan, the prefect of Shu County. He was born in Xiaolian and served successively as a doctor, Taishi Ling, Shizhong and Hejian. Due to illness in his later years, he entered the court and served as minister. In the fourth year of Yonghe (139 years), he died at the age of sixty-two. In the Northern Song Dynasty, he was granted the title of Bo of Xi'e County.
