When Yu Boya was young, he was smart and eager to learn. He used to learn from others, and his piano skills reached the level. However, he always felt that he could not express his feelings about all kinds of things in a superb way. After Boya's teacher knew his idea, he took him to Penglai Island in the East China Sea by boat, so that he could enjoy the natural scenery and listen to the waves of the sea. Boya looked up and saw the waves surging and the spray splashing; Seabirds are roaring and singing; Forest trees, lush, like entering a fairyland. A wonderful feeling arises spontaneously, and it seems that the harmonious and beautiful music of nature rises in my ears. He couldn't help playing the piano, and the sound turned at will, melting the beauty of nature into the sound of the piano, and Boya experienced an unprecedented realm. The teacher told him, "You have learned."
One night cruise in Boya. Facing the cool breeze and bright moon, he was full of thoughts, so he played the piano again, and the sound of the piano was melodious and getting better. Suddenly I heard someone screaming on the shore. When Boya heard the sound, he came out of the boat and saw a woodcutter standing on the shore. Knowing that this man was a bosom friend, he immediately invited the woodcutter to board the boat and played for him with great interest. Boya played a tune praising the mountains, and the woodcutter said, "How nice! Magnificent and solemn, like Mount Tai towering into the sky! " When he played the surging waves, the woodcutter said, "How nice! Broad and mighty, as if seeing rolling water and boundless sea! " Boya was very excited and said excitedly, "bosom friend!" You are really my bosom friend. " This woodcutter is Zhong Ziqi. Since then, the two have become very good friends.

a diversion from the east to the west: during the eastern Han dynasty, Ban Chao sent a mission to the western regions, with the purpose of uniting the countries in the western regions against the Huns. In order to make it easier for the western countries to fight against the Huns, it is necessary to get through the north-south passage first. Shache, located on the western edge of the desert, incited small neighboring countries to join the Huns and oppose the Han Dynasty. Ban Chao decided to pacify shache first. King shache went north to Qiuci for help, and King Qiuci led fifty thousand troops to rescue shache. Ban Chao has joined forces with Khotan and other countries, with only 25, troops. Being outnumbered, it is difficult to beat them, so we must outwit them. Ban Chao then set a diversion to confuse the enemy. He sent people to spread dissatisfaction with Ban Chao in the army, making it impossible to defeat Qiuci and showing signs of retreating. And especially let shache prisoners hear clearly. At dusk, Ban Chao ordered the Khotan army to retreat eastward. He led his troops to retreat westward, seemingly flustered, and deliberately let the prisoners escape. Captives fled back to shache camp and quickly reported the news that the Han army had hurriedly retreated. Wang Daxi of Qiuci, mistakenly believing that Ban Chao was afraid of himself, hurriedly fled and wanted to take this opportunity to kill Ban Chao. He immediately ordered the soldiers to split up and pursue the fleeing enemy. He personally led 1, chosen men to the west to pursue Ban Chao. Ban Chao had answers, and when night enveloped the desert, he retreated only ten miles away, and the troops took cover on the spot. King Qiuci, eager to win, led the pursuers to fly by from Ban Chao's hiding place. Ban Chao immediately gathered his troops and, together with the pre-agreed East Road in Khotan, quickly returned to shache. Ban Chao's troops fell from the sky, and shache was caught off guard and quickly disintegrated. King shache was in shock and couldn't escape, so he had to surrender. King Qiuci was so aggressive that he chased away all night, but there was no sign of Ban Chao's troops. He also heard the report that shache had been pacified and there were some heavy casualties. The tide was gone, so he had to pack up the remains and return to Qiuci angrily.

Self-defeating: During the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a painter named Sun Zhiwei. He is good at figure painting. Once, he was entrusted by Shouning Temple in Chengdu to draw a picture of the Nine Yao Stars and Gentlemen. He carefully hooked the picture with a pen, and the characters were lifelike, and the clothes were fluttering and graceful, leaving only the last process of coloring. Just then, a friend invited him to have a drink. He put down his pen, looked at the painting carefully for a while, and felt satisfied. He said to his disciples, "I have drawn all the lines of this painting, only the coloring is left. You must be careful not to color it wrong. I have something to do at my friend's house. When I come back, I hope you can draw it well."
After Sun Zhiwei left, the disciples surrounded the painting, repeatedly watched the teacher's skill in using the pen and the overall composition, and exchanged ideas with each other. Someone said, "Look at how lifelike the demeanor of that Shui Yao Xing Jun is, with a long beard and no anger." Others said, "Surrounded by auspicious clouds at the foot of the Bodhisattva, the real deity is awe-inspiring." One of them, a disciple named Tong Renyi, usually shows off his cleverness and likes grandstanding. He is the only one who pretends to say nothing. Someone asked him, "Why don't you talk? Is there something wrong with this painting?" Tong Renyi pretended to be profound and said, "The boy around Shuiyao Xingjun looks very vivid, but there seems to be something missing from the crystal bottle in his hand." The disciples said, "I didn't find anything missing." Tong Renyi said: "Every time the teacher draws a bottle, he always draws a flower in it, but this time there is no flower. Maybe we are eager to go out and have no time to draw it. Let's draw it and then color it. " Tong Renyi said, and carefully drew a gorgeous red lotus flower on the bottle mouth.
When Sun Zhiwei came back from a friend's house, he found a lotus flower in the bottle in the boy's hand. He said with anger and laughter, "Who did this stupid thing? If it's just gilding the lily, it's just self-defeating. The bottle in the boy's hand is a town demon bottle that Shuiyao Xingjun used to subdue the water monster. It would be a big joke if you added lotus flowers and turned the Aquarius into an ordinary vase. " Said, and tore the painting to pieces. The disciples looked at Tong Renyi and bowed their heads in silence.
