Zheng Xie (1693— 1765) was a painter and poet in Qing dynasty. The word Kerou,no. Banqiao, was born in Xinghua (now Xinghua, Jiangsu). He is good at drawing bamboo, orchids and stones. His calligraphy is famous for his "six and a half books" and his poems are well written, so he is called "three musts". His paintings are unique in the painting world and are one of the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou".
