First of all, my opinion is that medical skills are as important as medical ethics. But if we have to choose between the two, I think medical ethics is more important and the first. The main reasons are as follows:
1. Doctors who have no medical ethics but are skilled in medical skills are more harmful to society. This is actually similar to "sometimes a moral blindness has more negative benefits than an illiteracy". Not afraid of hooligans without morality, but afraid of hooligans with culture, so it will be very dangerous and terrible for a doctor with good medical skills to have no morality and professional ethics.
2. Morality is the lowest legal standard. If a person is immoral, it means that he can't even meet the most basic social requirements. What kind of return and value can such a person bring to society even if his medical skills are superb?
3. The trust of patients in doctors is the basic condition for doctors to practice medicine. If a doctor loses everyone's trust because of his immorality, even if he has superb medical skills, it will not help.
4. Lack of medical skills can still be learned. With the development of social economy, the medical level is getting higher and higher, and the medical talents are becoming more and more outstanding. The society is constantly re-cultivating medical talents with high knowledge and high energy, so even if you think that your medical skills are superb and arrogant, and therefore disregard the law and morality, such talents are still not worth cherishing.
Parents' heart of doctors, every doctor should hold a heart of perfection, always have awe of medicine and enthusiasm for saving lives. Only in this way can we truly become a truly good doctor remembered by the people.
