The movie The Battle at Lake Changjin tells the story of China Volunteers and American soldiers fighting in Changjin Lake, which is a very important campaign to resist US aggression and aid Korea. Our volunteers are desperate to fight the hateful American soldiers. Regardless of their own safety, regardless of their delicate body, and finally successfully completed the task. The most impressive picture is that our volunteers are eating cold potatoes at Christmas, while the hateful American soldiers are drinking big wine and eating big meat. What a sharp contrast!

I can't forget the scene of soldiers eating frozen potatoes, the sound of bullets and cannons on the battlefield, and the "ice sculpture" on the snowdrift. When the American commander saw the ice sculpture, he sighed, "Our enemy has such a strong determination that we can never defeat it." Our volunteers have no planes or tanks, but we have firm determination!

According to my father, my great-grandfather also participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and the battles in history were even more tragic than those in the movies. It's hard for me to live in peacetime today. It's all hero's blood! I want to have a grateful heart. If they didn't shelter us from the wind and rain, there would be no happy life today!
