Part 1: Inspirational Essays
Socrates said: "The happiest thing in the world is an inspirational essay." But my ideal is hazy. When I was in elementary school, I spent most of my time "playing" and had no concept of "ideal" at all. Now at a small turning point in life, with the teachings of parents and teachers, the "ideal" seems to have some outlines.
In fact, my ideal is very simple. It should be the same as many people’s ideals - to create my own piece of the world and let my parents live a good life. I think I can want nothing, but I will never abandon my parents. Because my life is given by them, there is nothing else I can do for them.
Having said this, I remembered one thing. A classmate transferred from out of town to the class. One day we got together and chatted about our ideals and our parents. We told her that our parents are the driving force for us to move forward, and we should and must work hard for them. She said: "Why do you think so much? Aren't you tired?" I didn't say anything, but I asked myself in my heart, are you tired? ? My heart tells me I’m not tired, yes, I’m not tired. Because my ideal is to let my parents live a good life, this is my goal. Maybe on the surface it seems tiring to work hard, but in my heart it is sweet.
I really can’t imagine the lives of those who have no ideals. They don’t even have a hope, so how can they make their lives radiant? Think carefully: without the childhood ambition to treat people, perhaps there would not be Li Shizhen and the world-famous "Compendium of Materia Medica"; without the youth's ambition to defeat the invaders, perhaps there would not be the great leader Mao Zedong and his great achievements. Without the foundation of my childhood love for painting, perhaps there would not be Mickey Mouse created by Disney... It can be seen how great the power of ideals is!
However, the road to pursuing ideals is not smooth sailing. "Today is cruel, tomorrow will be even crueler, but the day after tomorrow will be beautiful. But most people will die tomorrow night." This is what Jack Ma often says. We all work hard for our ideals through thick and thin, but there are always people who cannot make it to the moment when their ideals are realized. Therefore, it is not enough to have ideals. You must also have a heart that is not afraid of setbacks and perseveres to the end.
Do you know camellias? Its flower language is ideal. My camellias are waiting to bloom behind the mist. I wouldn't let it wait too long, though.
Look up at the sky and imagine the gorgeous camellias blooming after the fog is cleared.
