Zhuge Liang (July 23, 181 - August 28, 234), courtesy name Kongming, nickname Wolong (also known as Fulong), was a native of Yangdu, Langya (now Yinan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province). Prime Minister of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period, he was an outstanding politician, strategist, inventor, and writer. He was named Marquis of Wuxiang when he was alive, and was posthumously named Marquis of Zhongwu after his death. In order to admire Zhuge Liang's military talents, the later Eastern Jin Dynasty named him King Wuxing. In order to support the Shu Han regime, Zhuge Liang worked hard, dedicated his life, and died. His representative works include "Execution of Teachers in the Past", "Execution of Teachers in the Back", "Book of Commandments", etc.; he invented the wooden cow and flowing horse, Kongming lantern, etc. Zhuge Liang was greatly respected in later generations and became a model of loyal ministers and the embodiment of wisdom. There is the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu, and Du Fu wrote the famous poem "The Prime Minister of Shu" to praise Zhuge Liang.
