The original text in "Liezi·Yang Zhu" says this: "In ancient times, if a person loses a penny to benefit the world, he will not give it to him; he knows that the world will give him one body, and he will not take it. No one will lose a penny. "Everyone is not good for the world: the world is governed."
It means that I don't agree with things that benefit the world by plucking a hair. I don't agree with using all the wealth in the world to worship one person. Disapprove. If everyone does not pluck a hair and does not strive to benefit the world, then the world will naturally be harmonious and stable.
Yang Zhu is saying that everyone should be yourself, do your duty, do things according to your own heart, and don’t think about doing things just to get something every day. In this way, the world will naturally be stable and harmonious.
