This semester I teach first-grade art classes, 18 hours in nine classes.
When faced with first-grade art teaching, some people will say: "Isn't art class just about painting? What's more?" Some people even say: "What are you talking about? Painting!" Art class is about painting. That’s true, but painting is not the purpose. The ultimate goal of art classes in primary school is to improve students' aesthetic ability and create purposeful paintings based on certain aesthetic experience.
If the teacher makes a big fuss in class, just "draw it". Students' painting can only stay at the graffiti stage in kindergarten. A painting can be completed in one minute or five minutes at most. It is too superficial for teachers to blindly use "good" to encourage children.
In the face of improving the aesthetic ability of first-grade children, I have summarized three points of experience:
1. Appreciate the works of famous artists and improve their aesthetic ability;
Some People would say: "A first-grade kid appreciates the works of famous artists, do you understand?" Teacher Ren replied: The children already understand, so why do they need a teacher? As a teacher, Teacher Ren needs to take his children to appreciate the works of famous artists. He knows that some works are good, what are the advantages, and what methods did the masters use to arouse the cries of the viewers? How I reflect this in my work.
Summary of first-grade art classroom teaching work
For example: in the lesson "Drawing Yourself", Teacher Ren led the children to appreciate Xu Beihong's self-portraits and get to know the great painter Xu Beihong.
Teacher Ren said: Xu Beihong is a great modern painter. He is good at Chinese painting and also very good at Western oil painting. He has been studying a painting method that combines Chinese and Western painting methods into Chinese painting. What I am best at drawing is "horse".
This painting is an oil painting "Self-Portrait" that Xu Beihong painted while studying abroad. This painting not only depicts the artist's appearance, but also depicts the artist's mental state.
As a "great painter" Xu Beihong. Before he became famous, his life was very difficult. He had no money, no job, no food, and no face to go home. He almost jumped into the Huangpu River because of his thoughts, but was later rescued.
Principle of life: People will always encounter difficulties in their life, and the same goes for painters. Sometimes they encounter difficulties and can’t think about it. Just grit your teeth and get through this difficult period, and you will be fine. If he had died at that time, who would still know about Xu Beihong?
Educate students: You will also encounter unimaginable things in your life in the future. At this time, you must be strong, for the sake of your loved ones, be good, cherish life, grit your teeth, everything will pass.
Teacher Ren said: Xu Beihong studied very hard during his studies abroad. He often insisted on painting in the ice and snow. He often forgot to eat while painting, and suffered from serious stomach problems when he took a bite to cool down or a bite to warm up.
Principle of life: Learning to paint is a hard job, and it is very difficult to learn any skill and achieve success.
Educate students: During study, you must take good care of your body.
Teacher Ren said: Xu Beihong returned to China after studying painting and engaged in art teaching. In his teaching, he was rigorous in his studies, discovered talents, and cultivated talents, which was called Bole.
Principle of life: Xu Beihong cultivated a group of young and promising art talents for our New China within his own ability. This is what our ancients often advocated: "If you are poor, you can take care of yourself; if you are rich, you can help the world."
Educate students: tell children what kind of people are good people and what kind of people we should learn from.
Speaking of this, Teacher Ren emotionally read the sentence in the textbook: This painting is a self-portrait of the famous Chinese painter Xu Beihong when he was young. The piercing eyes and rosy face on the picture express the painter's firm belief in art and yearning for the future.
This sentence well summarizes Teacher Ren’s previous description of Xu Beihong, a great painter and art educator. This kind of teaching design achieves the purpose of using the painter's words and deeds, the painter's noble quality, and the painter's positive energy to lead students to grow.
2. Connect with life and improve aesthetic ability;
We must lead children to connect the art knowledge learned in the classroom with life, and ultimately achieve the purpose of serving life.
There is a famous saying on the blackboard in the art classroom: Art comes from life and is higher than life.
The first-grade children did not understand that Teacher Ren explained this famous saying like this: "Art comes from life" means: every item in the work of art comes from life, such as the sun in the lesson "The Sun" , the sun that children see every day and often painted in paintings. "Art is higher than life" means: the sun in works of art is really much more beautiful than the sun in real life. For example, the sun bird unearthed from the Jinsha site, the silk painting of the sun unearthed from Mawangdui, the Mexican Aztec solar calendar stone, and countless sun cartoons with facial features and emotions in cartoons, etc.
In the process of teaching the children to recognize and match colors, Teacher Ren also taught the children how to match clothes. There are many girls like this in life. They spend a lot of money to buy single items of clothing, but they don’t know how to match them. Sometimes they carefully match clothes of the same color but the colors go smoothly. Sometimes the contrast of the colors is too strong, and It seems too exaggerated.
In class, I often invite children with good color matching to the table and let all the children observe his or her clothing. "Please look at this classmate. She is wearing a pair of black leather shoes, a gray woolen skirt, and a light blue sweatshirt. The whole outfit presents a black, white, and gray effect. The effect of wearing small black shoes is Stand firm and give people a sense of stability." "There are also many people who like to wear white shoes to see the effect of wearing white shoes." The teacher casually asked a child wearing white shoes: "Wear white shoes and give them People always feel that she will jump and have a bouncing feeling. Modern people like white shoes. This is a kind of fashion. White shoes can reflect the lively, free and unrestrained feeling of modern people. p>
Not only that, I also discussed the color matching of the art classroom with the children. The colors in the classroom should not be messy. There should be a main color of yellow. Based on the main color of yellow, there is a red sun, white clouds and blue. White and white bags of paint. Red sun, red is close to this medium yellow. If it is just these two, it will have a hot, roasted feeling, so there should be a blue and white to cool down the wall. This kind of embellishment brings a jumping beauty to the entire wall. Without this decoration, this wall would be a little dull and lose the characteristics of an art classroom.
There are no exams in art classes. Teacher Ren specifically talks about this to tell students: Art is everywhere in our lives. As long as you live, you have to wear clothes every day; there are no conditions now, but one day You will have a room of your own, how will you decorate your living space then? Whether you dress or decorate your room, it reflects your aesthetic taste.
3. Connect with other subjects and use art teaching to promote the learning of other subjects.
We must lead children to discover the connection between art subjects and other subjects, and ultimately use art teaching to Vision builds a child's own knowledge system.
"Children, today Teacher Ren will teach you to draw the rhythm of music into the picture, and finally draw a picture with a sense of rhythm."
"Huh?" Children I looked at Teacher Ren in surprise and asked, "Put music in the painting?"
Yes, this is Teacher Ren personally demonstrating rhythmic coloring in "Fairy Tale Castle": Injecting music rhythm into painting In the work, for example, all the buildings in the picture on the left actually use only four colors:
The first set of colors: red, orange, and yellow
The second set of colors: sky blue
Red, orange and yellow are eye-catching colors for roofs, eaves and guardrails, giving people a visual impact.
Sky blue depicts a white wall. The white wall looks clean and elegant after being outlined with sky blue.
The alternating use of the first and second groups of colors is like the 2/4 rhythm in music: strong, weak, strong, weak.
Also, the wall in the picture on the left is painted in tawny (dark chocolate), ocher (sesame), and earthy yellow. The combination of these three colors is like the 3/4 rhythm in music: strong, weak, weak; strong, weak, weak.
The children all said: It’s so happy to color with such rhythmic colors.
In addition, Teacher Ren also made effective attempts in art teaching and Chinese composition teaching. “Drawing a picture is like writing an essay.
"Whether it is a picture or a composition, it is also necessary to indicate the time, place, main characters, what happened? What kind of central idea is expressed.
For example: In the lesson "Insects and Me", Not only do we need to learn about insects, but we can also dress ourselves up as a small insect in the picture and fly into the sky to form an interesting picture with other insects. Some children just draw casually, but some children can make up their own pictures. A fun little story is told to everyone. Under the guidance of the teacher, such a little story has time, place, characters, and events, and expresses the mood of the little painter. Each of these little stories is Chinese teaching. Write it down. That is an essay.
In fact, not only that, art teaching can also be combined with natural science. Only when you understand insects can you draw well. It can also be connected with mathematics, and there is no problem. If you can understand it and draw pictures, you will be able to do it. It is also related to English. The children put on their own headgear to perform an English play. How proud it would be to see the hands of the children at the beginning of this semester. My parents did all the copying for me, and I felt very heavy. So I taught my children some composition knowledge in my own class, and then the parents just gave me some guidance when writing the handwritten newspaper. If you know how to compose a picture, it will be no problem for your children to add small patterns. Teacher Ren also used it in the last lecture of this semester. The poor children may not be able to do it, but the good children in the class will basically have no problem. < /p>
Teacher Ren also wants to improve children’s learning in various subjects through her own teaching. She uses art class teaching to promote the learning of other subjects.
That’s the point. In Yidian's art teaching, children's aesthetic ability has gradually improved. As their aesthetic ability has improved, their horizons have broadened, and they have higher requirements for themselves in the process of painting. Some children often ask me: "Teacher, I am. Can you draw like this? Teacher Ren's answer was: "Baby, ask yourself this question, do you plan to use the new knowledge and techniques you have learned to paint?" Or should I paint with the casual painting method I used before? Or make a breakthrough in any aspect to make your pictures more creative. "When the child grows up, he (she) has the ability to distinguish. Only then can the teacher let the child go. "Okay, let's go to the time to draw freely. "The children laughed. This is their time to boldly innovate. As a teacher, we must give children space and time to allow them to digest and absorb new knowledge; we must give children confidence through teacher's demonstration and teacher design. Gradient homework and teachers leading children to draw strokes are all effective ways to enhance children’s confidence.
Some people will say: “Drawing requires talent. "Teacher Ren acknowledges your point of view, but the classroom teaching that Teacher Ren engages in is really not for individual gifted children, because there are too few gifted children, and sometimes you don't meet one for several years. For one or half Teaching a gifted child? We can’t do art classroom teaching.
Then teach for the overall improvement of all students. Most children are very good as long as the teacher teaches them. Just take the lead and learn from it. Of course, there are some children who are hyperactive and have weak IQs, so we will take them away. For gifted children, we will let them go.
But remember. One point: Don’t be too aggressive when dealing with children. You should act within your capabilities. As an art teacher, you can only have the intention of “improving children’s abilities”, and you can’t have the intention of “forceful change”. Many teachers in this field are terrible. Being too strong can only be counterproductive. As a teacher, you should treat a child like a flower. The reason why a flower grows here is inseparable from the environment, soil, and climate. As a teacher, you cannot change it. His parents cannot change the child's family life environment. How can you change her?
Teacher Ren loves every child and understands that every child has a positive heart. His (her) living environment since childhood has shaped this child. A first-grade child already has his or her own "cognitive construction system" in his or her heart.
As an art teacher, all you can change is an art classroom. Create an art class teaching environment, let children create art in a "beautiful" atmosphere, and achieve the goal of allowing children to take every art class well, so that children can improve little by little on the original basis. < /p>
Teacher Ren’s words: What is natural is the most beautiful.
Thank you all for your continued support, thank you.
