What did Nakajima Atsushi write in The Story of the Mountain and the Moon?
The Story of the Mountain and the Moon is one of Nakajima Atsushi's representative works, which tells the story of a man becoming a tiger. This story first appeared in the legendary novels of the Tang Dynasty. The difference is that the original tells the story of Li Zheng, a fallen aristocrat, who was punished for hiding his lover and eventually became a tiger. Zheng Li in Shan Hai Jing, however, became a tiger because he was addicted to poetry and pretended to be lofty.
