Mencius's famous sayings gave me a lot of inspiration:
Mencius's educational thoughts are also the inheritance of Confucius' educational thoughts of "Teaching without distinction" ("The Analects of Confucius·Wei Linggong") and play. They all regard education for all as a means and purpose of implementing benevolent government. On the one hand, it advocates "setting it as a Xiangxu school to teach" (Teng Wengong's first sentence) to strengthen school education; on the other hand, it requires those in power to practice it and take the lead in setting an example. "A ruler is benevolent, never unkind; a ruler is righteous, never unjust; a ruler is upright, never unjust." (Part 1 of Li Lou chapter) Educate the people with the power of example. The purpose of education is to help people "understand human ethics" in order to establish a harmonious, harmonious and ideal society with ethical order in which "human ethics are clear at the top and the people at the bottom are close to each other" (Teng Wengong's first sentence).
