For me, the same movie-watching experience as zootopia is The Adventures of Tintin directed by Spielberg and Peter Jackson. This kind of film has no serious injuries, and all links can basically be called excellent, except for some impressive memory points.
It should be said that this is Disney's best work in recent years (although Pixar also belongs to Disney, the animation produced by Pixar is not included), which is far better than the boring superhero animation that only sells cute but not cute in Hero 6. The film basically contains all the elements that you would expect when watching an animated film, such as funny, cute, sensational and thrilling, as well as Wang Feng's famous saying "What is your dream", and even a tribute classic that few cartoons can do. The film imitates the godfather, alluding to the rise of the dark knight and the moment of war.
After watching the China version, I really doubt the necessity of the China version of this film. Many of the contents involved in the film and the depth of the topics discussed are totally unsuitable for children. Racial discrimination, official corruption, you may think of domestic anti-corruption, foreign refugees, last year's affirmative action bill, this year's Oscar black incident, and perhaps Trump election or "Islamic State". Whatever you think is implied, it doesn't matter. It is important that this film has enough mapping to the real world.
I've been wondering why such a seemingly perfect movie didn't shock me as much as "Kawara Tsutomu". On Theme Depth zootopia seems to be deeper than Kawara Tsutomu's environmental protection, more like an animated portrayal of the present world, rather than a relatively empty human who wants environmental protection. I think this may be because there is a touching love story besides environmental protection in Kawara Tsutomu. I think when Pixar made Kawara Tsutomu, the depth of the film and family fun were relatively balanced, and the proportion of environmental protection and love was similar. However, Disney seems to have gone to the other extreme this time. Contrary to the normal state of pure entertainment in Hero 6 and Frozen, it wants to show the practical significance of the film more, so it seems to give people the illusion that they don't spend too much time on family entertainment. The first half of the film is the rabbit's dream-chasing process, and the second half is a detective adventure story similar to detective chinatown. As far as a detective novel is concerned, it is not easy to decorate it with laughter and tears, and it is really impossible to ask it to be as touching as Kawara Tsutomu. This story didn't develop in this direction. More objectively speaking, there is not much comparability between zootopia and Kawara Tsutomu.
Kawara Tsutomu is mentioned because of Zootopia's excellent quality, which makes me ask myself whether it can replace Kawara Tsutomu and become the best animation in my heart. Although I'm afraid zootopia can't replace Kawara Tsutomu in my mind, it doesn't prevent zootopia from being an excellent animation objectively. Just as an ordinary audience, I can't be as objective as a film critic. Please forgive me for not giving it five stars.
