Introduction to sia

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (English: Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, December 18, 1975 -), stage name Sia (English pronunciation: /?si?/) , is an Australian slow electronic, pop and jazz singer-songwriter. In the mid-1990s, Sia joined an acid jazz band called Crisp in Adelaide, Australia. After the band disbanded in 1997, Sia released a trip-hop style album "Only See" through Flavoured Records, but it was ultimately unsuccessful. After that, Sia moved to London, England. In 2000, Sia signed a recording contract with Dance Pool, a subsidiary of Sony Music, and released her second album "Healing Is Difficult" in 2001. This attracted British electronic band Zero 7 to collaborate with them on three albums. Sia subsequently signed with Go! Beat Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. The third album "Color the Small One" with a distinctive independent music style was released in 2004. Due to poor performance in the mainstream music market, Sia moved to New York in 2005 and toured the United States. Sia released the albums "Some People Have Real Problems" and "We Are Born" in 2008 and 2010 respectively, with stable sales in the US market. During this period, Sia began to write pop songs for other singers through the introduction of her manager. In June 2010, after "We Are Born" was released, Sia was diagnosed with diffuse toxic goiter. In 2011, the success of the singing songs "Titanium" and "Wild Ones" increased Sia's popularity. In 2014, Sia released her sixth album, 1000 Forms of Fear, and decided to stop appearing in live performances and music videos. The lead single "Chandelier" became a top ten hit worldwide, which also greatly increased Sia's reputation in the pop music industry. In 2016, Sia released the album "This Is Acting".
