Su Dongpo once said: "Life is like an adverse journey, and I am also a traveler." In the journey of life, everyone will inevitably experience adversity. And your attitude in the face of adversity will change the trajectory of your life.
For the weak, adversity is an excuse for being born at the wrong time and having bad luck. For the strong, adversity is a rare test. Only after experiencing adversity can one become stronger and reborn in Nirvana. When you are frustrated in life, memorize these four mantras to help you get out of trouble as soon as possible and successfully counterattack!
1. Be able to cope with pleasant situations
Everyone will encounter unsatisfactory things. If you blame others all day long when you are frustrated, or even give up on yourself, you will only get deeper and deeper into trouble. Deep and unable to extricate myself.
Su Shi had a bumpy career and was demoted many times in his life, but he always maintained an open-minded and optimistic attitude. Even when he was demoted to Lingnan, he was still able to enjoy himself, leaving behind the eternal famous saying "Eat 300 lychees a day and never give up to be a Lingnan native".
You must know that life will be unsatisfactory nine times out of ten, and you must learn to deal with it yourself. Knowing how to enjoy happiness in frustration and finding the value of life is the great wisdom of life.
2. You must survive the hard days
Many people cannot bear hardships. After a few hard days, they will inevitably complain. Such people have weak willpower, and when tempted at this time, they can easily lose control and go astray. However, there is no turning back in life. If you make a wrong step, you will regret it one day.
Those who achieve great things must still stick to their true intentions in hard times. Only by remaining true to our original aspirations and adhering to our own direction in adversity can we move forward step by step towards our ideals.
3. Be patient when you are angry
When you are down, there will inevitably be villains around you who will add insult to injury. At this time, you need to know how to be patient and not share the same views with them. This is the way to protect yourself wisely. Because at this juncture, if you argue with this kind of person, you will still be the one who suffers in the end.
In times of adversity, the first thing to do is to accumulate strength. When you are weak, fighting them blindly is just overestimating your own capabilities. Learn to be patient and dormant, and only when your strength is strong enough will you have the confidence to challenge.
Endure the calmness for a while and take a step back to open up the world. Many times, our anger is caused by the heat of the moment, and it is not a big deal when we think about it afterwards. Learning to take the initiative to give in in everything can save us a lot of trouble.
4. Desires must be tolerated
Everyone has seven emotions and six desires, but the difference is that some people can tolerate desires and turn desires into motivation for struggle. But some people are driven by desire and do many things against their will.
Lao Tzu said, those who are deeply addicted to desires are weak in their secrets. Desire is like a bottomless abyss. If you cannot restrain your inner desire and allow it to grow unchecked, it will easily corrode your soul. Driven by desire, they will gradually lose their reason, take desperate risks, and eventually destroy themselves.
In times of adversity, you must know how to endure desires, keep a clear mind, and do not get into fights with others for fame and fortune. When you gradually get out of adversity, there is no need to chase, everything will naturally fall into place.
