Jinse: A beautifully decorated instrument. Plucked instrument, usually 25 strings.
from: Jinse is one of the representative works of Li Shangyin, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The title of the poem is "Jinse", but it is not an ode to things. It is just an untitled poem with the first word as the title according to the practice of ancient poetry. This poem is one of Li Shangyin's most difficult works to solve, and the poet has always lamented that "a Jinse is difficult to solve people".
Original text:
Jinse
Tang Dynasty: Li Shangyin
I wonder why my inlaid harp has fifty strings, each with its flower-like fret an interval of youth.
the sage Chuangzi is day-dreaming, bewitched by butterflies, the spring-heart of Emperor Wang is crying in a cuckoo.
mermen weep their pearly tears down a moon-green sea, blue fields are breathing their jade to the sun.
and a moment that ought to have lasted for ever, has come and gone before I knew.
Translation:
Seben has 25 strings, but this poem was written after the death of Li Shangyin's wife, so 5 strings mean broken strings.
but even so, every string and syllable of it is enough to express the yearning for that beautiful time.
Zhuang Zhou actually knows that he just yearns for the free butterfly.
Wang Di's beautiful heart and deeds can touch Du Fu.
The shadow of the bright moon in the sea is like a pearl turned from tears.
Only then can Lantian in that place produce a jade like smoke.
those beautiful things and years can only be left in memories.
at that time, those people thought that things were just ordinary, but they didn't know how to cherish them.

Creation background:
This poem was written in the author's later years, and there have always been different opinions on the creation intention of the poem Jinse. Or think it's patriotic, or think it's a memorial to his dead wife, or think it's a theory of self-injury and self-comparison, or think it's a pen to express his thoughts and treat his children.
Appreciation:
Jinse is actually an exposition and summary of Li Shangyin's life, and it is a sad work for his own life because of listening to her. "Jinse" is a musical instrument, and the first couplet uses these two words to point out the topic and rise, which is actually a kind of imaginary writing.
The sentence "each with its flower-like fret an interval of youth" points out the main idea of this poem. The subsequent poems reflect the author's feeling of sadness about his life. "the sage Chuangzi is day-dreaming, bewitched by butterflies" adopts the allusion of Zhuang Sheng's dream butterfly.
"Zhuangsheng" has two meanings: on the one hand, it is the poet's own self-description, on the other hand, it is to recall and pursue his youth life. "To be fascinated with butterflies" is used to describe entering the fairyland.
It implies that the author had a lot of beautiful fantasies and longings when he was young, but in the face of cruel reality, they all came to nothing, and now it is quite bitter to recall the past.
"the spring-heart of Emperor Wang is crying in a cuckoo" refers to the story of Wang Di Du Yu, and uses this story to express the sad feeling caused by listening to Seer. It aims to express the sadness and desolation caused by listening to the music, which brings the sad past back to memory, making people feel sad. ?
"mermen weep their pearly tears down a moon-green sea" chose the saying that the pearls of Canghai often shed tears at the bright moon. In the sad music, the feeling of frustration is vividly displayed, touching people's inner sense of * * *.
"blue fields are breathing their jade to the sun" is quoted from "the poet's scenery, such as the sunny days in Lantian, the fertile jade and the smoke, can't be placed before it is imminent." The beautiful jade in Lantian produces smoke in warm weather.
So this poem expresses the author's hopeless disappointment and helplessness. The previous poems are all paving the way and rendering the article, laying the foundation for the direct lyric of the final couplet.
The word "and a moment that ought to have lasted for ever", "this feeling" refers to the nostalgic feeling of youth in the "Year of Thinking of China" originally mentioned, which echoes before and after and has a rigorous structure. This poem means that such feelings should not be remembered today.
Only then did I feel infinite sadness, even at that time, it was very disappointing and confusing, which showed that the poet had accumulated a lot of unspeakable sadness and pain in the long years, and it was only after many years that he remembered it that he was even more sad. ?
