Four Treasures of the Study means.
1, pen
Pen, which refers to the writing brush, is the main tool used by ancient Han people to write. According to legend, the writing brush was created by general Meng Tian. In Hengshui, the hometown of Chinese brush, jiaozi and drinking are celebrated every year on the third day of the third lunar month to commemorate Meng Tian's achievements in writing. Since ancient times, the manufacturing technology of brush has been constantly innovated.
2. Ink
Ink refers to colored materials used for writing and painting. In the Tang Dynasty, Li Mo was famous for his father and son Chao Heting's good ink, but in the Song Dynasty, Shexian, the birthplace of Li Mo, was renamed Huizhou, and Li Mo was renamed Huimo.
3. Paper
As long as paper refers to paper, it is one of the great inventions of the Han nationality. There are many materials for papermaking in history, among which Xuan paper in Jingxian County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province is the most famous. Xuan paper is flexible, white, smooth, and has strong ink absorption ability, and can achieve ideal results in both writing and painting.
4. inkstone
Inkstone refers to inkstone, which became popular in Han Dynasty and was widely used by the people in Song Dynasty. In the subsequent development, four kinds of famous inkstones appeared, namely Yan Tao in Zhuoni, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, Duanyan in Lanke Mountain in the east of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, She Yan in Weilongshan at the junction of Wuyuan in Jiangxi Province and Shexian County in Anhui Province, and Cheng Niyan in Bian He Village, Dingxiang County, Shanxi Province.
