Translation:

There is a person who wants to ask Dong Yu for advice. Dong Yu refused to teach, only said, "Before that, you must read it a hundred times." It means: "Read it a hundred times, and its meaning will naturally emerge." The person who asked for advice said, "I don't have time." Dong Yu said: "Use' Sanyu'." Someone asked what the meaning of "San Yu" was. Dong Yu said, "Winter is a year's slack time (you can study), and night is an extra time during the day (you can study), which is more than enough for rainy days all year round."
