At the same time, together with Zhang Yuntao (1909-1968), he broke the feudal shackles, recruited Zhang Yuanzhen, Wang Guiying and other female monks to teach Dong Sutra, and established the only women's Cave Sutra class in Yunnan Province - Miaoshan Society.

In his youth, Zhang Jiaxiong, together with gentlemen such as Zhao Mianzhi, Kong Hanchen, Dai Xiangcheng, and Lu Guangyao, invited Guizhou artists to teach Guizhou dulcimer rap. He played the dulcimer, huqin, flute and drum board, and also sang at the same time. . Around the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), a dulcimer singing group was formed under his leadership.
