How far is reality from the goal?
"Find a fulcrum to lift yourself high and draw a circle to let yourself go beyond the limit." Although this sentence is not a famous aphorism, it clearly warns us that we must dialectically grasp the internal relationship between goals and reality. Goals cannot be separated from reality, so we must be based on reality and not aim too high. Everyone has strong or weak abilities and moves fast or slow, so we must set goals according to our actual situation. Confucius was once regarded as a "master of Confucianism" by the world and respected by modern people. His traditional Confucianism, if measured by modern standards, can be said to have great limitations, but we will not laugh at it, because it was advanced and true in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period thousands of years ago. Who will laugh at themselves for learning English, and who will doubt the necessity of the first computer because of the development of electronic computers today? The reality is different, and the goal should be different. The goal originates from reality, but it must be perfected and broken through on the basis of reality. The goal is what we strive for, which gives us inexhaustible motivation and keeps us rising and moving forward on the road of life. We should not be satisfied with the status quo, we must seek a higher point and push ourselves to another glory. Presumably, everyone still remembers the tall figure in the Athens Olympic Games-vigorous pace and flying posture. It was Liu Xiang's constant high orientation, high goal and high pursuit that created that historical miracle and made him the focus of the world stage. 18-year-old Liu Xiang once broke the world youth record with 13. 12 seconds, but he was not satisfied with the status quo. Later, he made brilliant achievements again and again in Britain, Japan and IAAF. It was his "high goal" that made his life. Goals must be flexibly adjusted according to actual changes. I have heard such a story. In ancient times, a fisherman heard that cuttlefish was the highest in the market, so he decided to catch only cuttlefish. But all he met were crabs, so he had to return empty-handed. The second time, he decided to catch a crab, so he returned empty-handed ... Finally, he died of hunger and cold. The fisherman's tragedy is caused by his persistence and inflexibility in his goal. Some people aim for the next floor, but he dies in persistence. Everything in the universe is constantly changing and developing, which inevitably requires us to be flexible and changeable, so that our goals can constantly adapt to the new situation and achieve new concrete unity. Based on reality, high position, flexible and changeable, push yourself to a higher place in life. Life goal: lower your goal. Life is to constantly surpass the goals set by yourself. If the goal is set too high, if you always fail to reach it, you will lose the motivation to move forward. Instead of this, it is better to lower the goal of life, so that the pressure is less and the confidence is more. If you work hard with this positive attitude, you can experience the joy of success in the process of constantly surpassing your goals, and the road of life will be wider and wider.
