3. Everything will be established if it is hesitated, and it will be wasted if it is not hesitated. If you are determined before you speak, you will not be confused; if you are determined beforehand, you will not be trapped; if you are determined before you act, you will not feel guilty; if you are determined before the road is over, you will not be exhausted.

Whatever you do, it is easy to succeed if you are prepared, and you will fail if you are not prepared. If you think before you speak, you will not get stuck; if you prepare before you do something, you will not encounter difficulties; if you are prepared before you act, you will not regret it; if you choose the road in advance, you will not be cornered.
4. A gentleman does not feel guilty when he introspects, and has no evil intentions. What is beyond the reach of the king, is it invisible to others?
