The Suffering of the Six Paths of Reincarnation

The gods in the suffering realm of heaven are indulged in a happy life, so they do not think about Buddhism. In the seven days before their death, they will see five signs of death and will be born in hell or other places in their next life. They will experience the pain of degradation, like fish rolling on hot sand. After the good deeds have been repaid, even the gods in the Four Jhana Heavens and the Formless Realm Heaven will feel their samadhi weaken and gradually fall.

The suffering of the Asura path is because Asuras are jealous and envious of the glory of gods from birth, and they only know how to fight with gods. In the end, he was defeated in the war and suffered extremely painfully when he was slaughtered.

There are eight kinds of suffering that are common in human nature, which are called the eight sufferings of birth: the suffering of being born: because of the extreme pain at birth. The pain of humble birth: because the seeds of defilement have been sown. Life is the basis of suffering: because old age, sickness and death come from life. Birth is the basis of confusion: because confusion gradually expands, people continue to create karma. Life implies the pain of powerlessness in the face of destruction. The five sufferings of old age are: loss of appearance, deterioration of body, decline of energy, dullness of feeling, and loss of wealth. The five sufferings of illness are: increased frustration and anxiety, natural changes in the body, inability to enjoy pleasant things, dependence on unpleasant things, and gradually approaching the end of life. The five sufferings of death are: leaving wealth, leaving power, leaving attendants and friends, leaving the body, intense grief. Suffering of not being able to ask for it: Although you pursue it desperately, and even use unscrupulous means to hurt or slander others, you still can't get the food, money, or reputation you want. The pain of the five yin blazings: psychological anxiety, emptiness, worry, depression and other indescribable pain. The pain of love and separation: death of relatives and friends such as parents, brothers, sisters, friends and classmates; decline in financial status; loss of large sums of money; worry about slander caused by bad things done by oneself or jealousy of others. This is the pain of love and separation. Resentment will cause suffering: suffering from illness, dangerous enemies, legal sanctions, murder, bad reputation, malicious rumors; helping others will lead to punishment; servants are lazy, etc. This is why resentment causes suffering. The animals in the suffering sea of ??the animal realm survive by devouring each other. Tormented by fear, they are driven around by the waves. Animals living in mountainous areas are always worried about enemy intrusion, and they kill each other. Domestic animals or poultry are waiting to be slaughtered and also suffer from stupidity and cold and heat. And because of his stupidity, he was unable to express his pain and receive help.

The suffering ghosts in the hungry ghost realm are unable to find food or drink due to karma. They can only eat feces and mucus. They are exhausted from searching for food. They had no clothes to wear and were scorched by fire in summer and frozen in winter. When it rains, it burns them like burning coals. All the water they saw was pus, the food was red-hot iron, and fire shot out of their joints. They are constantly fighting each other, and each hungry ghost thinks that the others are his enemies. Hungry ghosts can live for fifteen thousand years. The most famous one is the story of Mulian rescuing his mother.

The suffering sentient beings in the Abi hell of the hell realm are the most miserable. Even Bhagavan cannot bear to mention its misery. Whenever the Buddha mentions Avici Hell, all the Bodhisattvas will be heartbroken and vomit blood, and will be heartbroken with grief. In the Eight Heat Hells, the valleys are filled with blazing red iron, the rivers are filled with molten copper, and the trees emit swords like rain. All living beings are constantly being killed by wild beasts and evil ghosts without even a moment's rest. In the Eight Cold Hell, there is a land of ice and snow, and the biting cold storm cracks all living beings. Before the end of their billion-year lives, they would be reborn, dead, and reborn all the time, constantly suffering the same things. [1]

The suffering of beings in miscellaneous hells is equally severe.
