According to the Book of the Tang Dynasty, when Yuan Tiangang saw Wu Zetian's mother Yang, he said, "A wife gives birth to a son!" Wu Zetian's mother sold her two sons Wu Hewu to Yuan Tiangang for face reading. Yuan Tiangang, on the other hand, said that he could be an official with Taoism, but he was just a risk-averse who could protect his family, so it was not too expensive. Yang also called Wu Zetian's sister (later called Mrs. Han) out for Yuan Tiangang to take pictures. Yuan Tiangang said, "This woman is expensive and not good for her husband!"

Finally, the nanny took out Wu Zetian's boy clothes. When Yuan Tiangang saw Wu Zetian in her infancy, she was surprised and said that she was a "phoenix-necked dragon, which was very expensive!" But he said regretfully, it's a pity it's a boy. "If it's a woman, be the son of heaven!" "The historical process has been predicted by him.

I'm afraid our ordinary people's understanding of Yuan Tiangang is only through the ancient prophetic book "Pushing Endorsement". I heard the word "tuibeitu" for the first time in over eight years. At that time, I had just entered the society from school. I have been taught atheism since I was a child, and I scoff at any predictions, immortals, monsters and ghosts.

So at that time I missed the opportunity to know Yuan Tiangang. Later, after 20 years, I saw a book by Ke Yunlu, Decoding the Mysterious Phenomenon of Human Beings, which made me interested in some mysterious cultural phenomena in ancient times. So I began to read many books about Taoism, Buddhism and immortals.

At that time, I read "Pushing Endorsement" co-authored by two masters, Yuan Tiangang and Li, and studied it several times. The final conclusion is that both Yuan Tiangang and Li belong to the level of immortals who have opened their eyes. He left several books to later generations, including Five Elements, Yi Xuan Jing Yao and Yuan Tiangang Fortune-telling Law.

If Yuan Tiangang lived in modern society, people would certainly think that he was a master of Taoism, but these people are actually people who understand God. According to some records of Yuan Yuan plough by later generations, people know astronomical astrology and feng shui prediction, and they are all familiar with personnel, state affairs and natural changes. It is impossible for ordinary people to do it.

In Buddhism and Taoism, all the eminent monks and great virtues have the skill of the highest heaven, but some are hidden and some are explicit. Like Chen Tuan's bodhi old zu, Wang Yangming, Zhang Sanfeng, and all the Buddhist monks, such as the Yungu Buddhist monk I know.

Unfortunately, our current education is atheism education. If it is not through self-study outside school, it is difficult for ordinary people to enter this so-called mysterious ancient cultural phenomenon, let alone correctly understand and evaluate so many immortal figures like Yuan Tiangang in ancient China.

The essence of China's traditional culture has always been a combination of materialism and idealism. Literary classics such as Huangdi Neijing, Tao Te Ching and Zhouyi are all books that connect the gods. If we treat the ancient cultural civilization and people like Yuan Tiangang with the prejudice of materialism and atheism, my opinion will surely attract everyone's condemnation.
