Principles of composition
1. Principles of famous sayings
Classic sentence patterns: As a proverb says, "It is love that makes the world go around." (applicable to memorized famous sayings) There is no denying the fact that we cannot be young forever. (Applicable to self-composed quotes) More classic sentence patterns: such as the 2003 exam question: Shakespeare has ever stated that I came, I suffered and I survived, which gives us much for thought about our life and development.
2. Principles of digital statistics
Classic sentence patterns: According to a recent survey, about 78.9% of the college students wanted to further their study after their graduation.
More sentence patterns: Recent statistics show that… . A recent opinion poll indicates that…
3. Topic sentence principles
The topic sentence should have the following characteristics:
1. It should be a judgmental sentence, such as: It is safe to draw the conclusion that our
life is a course that requires constant pursuit of greater goals. (2004)
2. It should be general, such as: For my part, love is best understood when given to
people who need it most.
3. It should contain your own clear attitude. Do not use ambiguous sentence patterns as topic sentences.
4. It should be concise and attractive. The topic sentence is the essence of the full text and is what the marking teacher is concerned about, so we should strive to write it
into a classic sentence of the full text.
5. It should govern the entire text, but should not exceed the content of the full text. There is no need to write so earth-shatteringly that you forget about the consistency of the entire text.
Special tip: Hiding the subject sentence is risky!
Four. Sequence principles
1) first, second, third, last (not recommended, reason: vulgarity)
2) firstly, secondly, thirdly, finally (not recommended, reason: vulgarity)
3) the first, the second, the third, the last (not recommended, reason: vulgar)
4) in the first place, in the second place, in the third place, lastly (not recommended)
5) to begin with, then, furthermore, finally (strongly recommended)
6) to start with, next, in addition, finally (strongly recommended) Recommended)
7) first and foremost, besides, last but not the least (strongly recommended)
8) most important of all, moreover, finally
9) on the one hand, on the other hand (applicable to two points)
10) for one thing, for another thing (applicable to two points)
five. The principle of more reality and less fiction
When writing articles, you should still write some practical things, not empty words. This requires that more content words and less function words be used. The function words I am talking about here refer to those larger words.
For example, when we say something is very good, we should not use an empty word like nice, but should use some adjectives such as generous, humorous, interesting, smart, gentle, warm-hearted, hospitable and so on.
6. The principle of additional sentence structure
is to insert a noun phrase between the subject and the predicate to act as a supplementary component such as an appositive.
In my memory, Mr. Jiang, my Chemistry teacher in the high school, impressed me most in my past school years.
Mr. Jiang, a considerate and patient teacher, did not have any bias against me who lagged far behind the others.
VII. Parallel Sentence Principle
The fact that people from different countries are attracted to the mysterious Chinese culture, indicates that to some extent a culture can be accepted, respected, appreciated, and shared internationally.
< p>Only in this manner can we promote cultural development positively, and make our world dimensional, colorful and vigorous.8. The principle of challenging the limits
What seems to be a strong life is actually weak, all due to overprotection and care. (2003)
China first launching its rockets into the sky, the scientists have been working on the project to send human beings to the outer space, which resulted in the accomplished flight of Shenzhou VI spaceship. (2004)
IX. Instance Principle
The truth applies to our life: nearly every success is a result of unremitting endeavor. The necessity of heading for the next step is well illustrated in the space flight projects of our country. For instance, since we first launched our rockets into the sky, our scientists have been working on the project to send human beings to the outer space. (2004)
More sentence patterns: To take … as an example, One example is…, Another example is…, for example. A good case in point (a good and appropriate example).
10. Principle of Comparison
Classic cliché: similar comparison: in comparison, likewise, similarly, in the same manner.
Opposite comparison: on the other hand, conversely, whereas, while, instead, nevertheless, in contrast, on the contrary, compared with, ….
Eleven. Principle of changing sentences
When you have nothing to say, you can change it to another sentence to add more words to your article or to allow readers to fully understand your point of view. In fact, it’s just repeat, repeat, repeat! The following sentence is actually just three words: I love you!, I am enthusiastic about you. That is to say, I am crazy about you. I am wild about you. In other words, I have fallen in love with you. Or the example we gave above: I cannot bear it. It can be expressed in phrases: I cannot put up with it. So you can say: I cannot bear it. That is to say, I cannot put up with it or I am fed up with it.
Classic cliché: in more difficult language, in simpler words, to put it more simply.
In short, sentences in writing should be based on the needs of expression. If there are words, they should be long, and if there are no words, they should be short. Simplicity is a principle. No matter whether the sentence is long or short, it cannot be wordy.

Twelve. Recommended principles
Classic cliché: Apparently, it is high time that we took some measures to solve the problem.
More sentence patterns: Accordingly, I recommend that some measures be taken.
Consequently, to solve the problem, some measures should be taken.
