Beware of profit and fear——
Greed is the self-love among the four troubles, and "self-love" is selfishness. Selfishness will lead people into the forest of confusion. If a person is obsessed with what he has and is obsessed with his own achievements, then this person has lost himself. Therefore, the concept of love must be given up. Because selfishness often gets us into trouble that we can't get out of.
Suppose we take the project contracted by the Telecommunications Bureau as an example. A person who is responsible for the project bidding originally decided to contract it from a licensed and high-quality manufacturer, but another manufacturer happened to be a relative of A and came over. Say to a certain person: '○○, don't contract with this manufacturer. My price is cheaper than his, and I can also let you get a rebate or give you a red envelope as a token of appreciation. ’ At this time, you have to be careful. Sometimes, our wrong decision in a moment can even ruin your reputation. It's just a small profit, but it will make you exhausted and even worthless.
When faced with the word "profit", you must stay calm. As long as you handle it fairly, follow due procedures and regulations, and outsource the contract to a legitimate industry, even if something goes wrong, it's the manufacturer's problem and the responsibility does not lie with you. If you think in your mind: (This manufacturer is cheaper and is a relative of mine, not to mention I can make a profit from it.) Then reluctantly outsource the project to your relatives. In this way, if something goes wrong, Then it is difficult to absolve oneself from the blame.
Love what you do -
'I love' can make you lose your rationality and even face a dilemma where you have no choice. Therefore, we need to restore the balance between reason and emotion. The greatest thing about people is that they are very emotional, and emotions must be based on reason, and reason should be based on wisdom. It means that wisdom supports reason, and reason controls emotions, making our hearts have a correct horizontal line. Then you will not mislead your life. It doesn't matter what other people think of you.
People all grow up in a world full of suffering. Why? Because we like to hear good words, few people like to hear persecutory and offensive words, but this is not the case with saints. He is in a grateful state of mind 24 hours a day, and has no personal likes or dislikes regarding words that are pleasant or unpleasant to his ears.
The well-known great philosopher Socrates, his wife is a well-known shrew. Once, Socrates' students asked in confusion: "Teacher, you always teach us to be compassionate." To be tolerant, you need to know how to be a good person. Master's wife is famous for her fierceness. Why don't you educate her? ’ Socrates said: ‘Because she is so fierce, if I can tolerate her, I can tolerate people all over the world. ’ This sentence has become a famous saying throughout the ages, and it indeed contains profound life knowledge and wisdom. From this we can know that even a very bad person can achieve our cultivation.
So, those who marry a fierce wife are blessed. You should change your perception of your wife now and stop quarreling with her all day long. She is very fierce, so you have to think like this: (She is achieving my self-cultivation. Therefore, the one who can make me tempted and endure, and gain what I cannot do, is my wife.) In this way, change your concept - love What you do, don't just choose what you love to do.
Love what you do - because you are married, this is a fact that cannot be changed. Then, you must love your original choice, accept the current situation, and adjust your inner self. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to survive. We can change the mentality of irritability, division, resistance, and conflict in the past, and think that everyone is helping us and everyone is helping us. If someone is good to us, we learn from him; if someone is not good to us, we should be grateful. Then, this selfish ‘love’ will be amplified. Sun Tzu once said in "The Art of War": Treat your enemies well and your enemies will disappear. If you don't treat your enemy well, he will always be in front of you, because enemies are created by yourself.
No greed means coolness——
There can be no greed. We often end up losing big things because of small things because of greed. When you have no greed in your heart, you will feel refreshed. We get ill-gotten gains and live a nervous life lest others find out, so why bother? I got some money, but it added infinite pressure in my heart. If it were me, I would never do this. I would rather not have this money and live a peaceful and happy life.
Most people live the wrong life, greedy for a little profit, but it adds to the long-term stress and burden. They are restless during the day and have nightmares at night. It is really not worth it. We take for granted what belongs to us; we take nothing of what is not ours.
Being greedy is annoying -
Everyone likes to be friends with people who are not greedy. Greedy people are not welcome everywhere. Once, during military training at Chenggong Ridge, students from National Chung Hsing University and Ocean College sat at the same table. The classmate from Ocean College looks strong and tall. When eating breakfast, he didn't care about the people at the table who hadn't eaten yet, and just shoveled all the food into his bowl in one go. Everyone was here to be trained, so he seemed particularly greedy. A classmate from National Chung Hsing University advised him not to do this. He relied on his tallness and strength, but instead of listening, he even said arrogantly: 'Who do you think you are? ’ A classmate from National Chung Hsing University called him out and punched him without saying a word. As a result, two of his teeth fell out and he was bleeding profusely. It’s really not worth it to lose two teeth just to eat a few more peanuts and pieces of tofu. It can be seen that everyone hates greedy people.
If our financial ability permits, we should give alms, but we must do so within our means. People who can give charity are liked by everyone. Therefore, there should be no greed and no greed.
The root of life and death is ‘craving’. Already have a lot, but still want more. It is natural that the more desires there are, the more painful they will be. Therefore, we must make life very simple. As the Buddha said: 'Actually, life is very simple, but we make it very complicated. ’ If the concepts of life and death can be condensed into a moment, and there must be death if there is life, then the good and bad situations, right and wrong you encounter today must also exist relative to each other. In the process from birth to death, we will definitely have adversity, pain, and illness. There will be people who will feel sorry for you all day long, and there will definitely be people who will support you.
The three questions you asked, how to get rid of greed, anger and delusion, I will give you a simple answer
But to sum up these three questions, if you want to remove the firepower from the bottom of the cauldron, To solve it, long-term listening to scriptures and Dharma is indispensable. Why? Because only in this way can you broaden your mind and allow yourself to have wisdom. With the wisdom of Prajna, you can naturally transcend the shackles of troubles and be liberated. So, if you read that person’s answer today and think it is very good and feel very happy in your heart, then I admire you very much, but you must be clear that being happy does not mean that we no longer have greed in our hearts. It is not easy to practice it. Yes, practice is a bit of effort, not overnight, so we take it slowly bit by bit, slowly improve our temper, habits, and sublimate ourselves. This takes time, but as long as we are willing to start, we will reach the end. one day.
