There are three kinds of unfilial. The definition of filial piety is China's ancient thought, but it must be told that this is not the Buddha's thought. The so-called tradition is the statement left over from one's own background. It may have been said for thousands of years, but the disciples of the Buddha must practice according to the teachings of the Buddha.
In the next chapter, I remember that one of the scriptures taught by Buddha mentioned what' filial piety' was. It is our duty to support and respect our parents. The' filial piety' taught by the Buddha means that children expose their parents to Buddhism and practice the teachings of the Buddha. So as to move towards the road of liberation. This kind of filial piety is more rewarding than any filial piety. I remember that if we practice Buddhism ourselves and let our parents practice Buddhism correctly, it is equivalent to rewarding their parents for their upbringing.
Take a look at the teachings of the Buddha. After becoming a Buddha, the Buddha replied that his father's country was his father. Why is this? Because this is filial piety. So you don't need to worry about the contradiction between the "filial piety" taught by the Buddha and the traditional "filial piety" in China. If you are a disciple of the Buddha, you should give priority to the teachings of the Buddha.
Please don't worry, you should practice the teachings of the Buddha. I don't think what Master Kong Jing said is appropriate. Because' filial piety' can also be explained at many levels. Traditional filial piety is the filial piety in the world, which can be said to be a moral concept. But morality will change with the times. The' filial piety' taught by the Buddha is a moral' filial piety' that leads us to liberation and is the transmission of truth. Nothing is more "filial" than letting parents embark on the road to liberation.
Parents' hearts are really painful, because there is love and there is pain. Parents can't bear the pain of their children's parting, because parents love their children. However, some parents who are exposed to Buddhism clearly understand that it is the real interest of children to let them embark on the road of liberation. This should be encouraged. This is the difference between parents.
It is precisely because the Buddha regards the parents in the world as his own parents and the children in the world as his own children that he widely talks about Buddhism, hoping that people can learn this way of liberation. As children, let parents go to the road of liberation. Nothing can be more "filial", including carrying on the family line. Therefore, this is what the Buddha thinks of as' filial piety'.
