I didn't do well in that exam and my grades were not satisfactory. I was so disappointed that I was in a daze for a while. When I got home, I told my parents about it. They severely criticized me and helped me correct my mistakes and told me to get up from where I fell. But I was depressed and complained that I didn't review at ordinary times, so I crammed for the exam and panicked. During that time, I kept my head down and silently blamed myself. I became silent, and there was no longer the usual bright smile on my face. I am in a daze once in a while, and sometimes even the teacher wakes me up to answer questions in class, and I am speechless. I once casually opened a person's notebook and saw a famous saying of Marx: It is better to fight for the future than to regret the past. I suddenly realized that I should turn the pain of failure into a driving force for progress. So, I study hard, listen carefully in class, review my lessons after class, and sum up the reasons for my failure in the last exam. Through my unremitting efforts, my test scores have gradually improved and I have been among the best several times. Only then did I know how ignorant I was at the beginning. Since then, I have always regarded this sentence as my motto.
You can't always regret past disappointments and failures. They are like a quagmire. As long as you take a step forward, you will get deeper and deeper and give up on yourself until you can't extricate yourself. You should reflect on your failure and learn from it. From now on, work hard, be full of longing and hope for the future, and open up a bright sky of your own. This is inspired by my motto.
