Thirteen Pacific Insurance is the thirteen sons (or departments) of Guangze Wang Zun, a local security guard in Nan 'an, Fujian.
According to the folklore of Taiwan Province Province, King Guangze was promoted to the queen of heaven, married a fairy princess, and gave birth to thirteen sons, known as Thirteen Pacific Insurance, to help him protect his hometown and people. Some people think that Thirteen Pacific Insurance is Wang Zun's Kwanzaa Department, not his son. On the other hand, the mainland believes that the Thirteen Pacific Insurance is the spirit of respecting the king in Kwanzaa. If the first spirit is gone, it is called the Great Pacific Insurance, and so on to the Thirteen Pacific Insurance. Each of the three Taibao guards a palace, not far from the ancestral temple Fengshan Temple, and each palace is in 13 villages not far from Shishan. Every village has a palace, with Fengshan Temple as the center, forming its own belief circle.
