In the thirty-first year of Hongwu, on the 10th day of May (1June 24th, 398), Zhu Yuanzhang died in Yingtian Palace (Nanjing Forbidden City) and reigned for 3 1 year. Zhu Yuanzhang (1328,10,21-1398, June 24th) was born in Haozhou Zhongli (now Fengyang, Anhui Province), and was originally named Zhu Chongba, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty. Zhu Yuanzhang was born in a poor peasant family, and later became a monk in a temple in Huang Jue because of the disaster. At the age of 25 (1352), he joined the Red Scarf Army to resist the Mongolian regime. He defeated many governors and warlords, unified the south, and established the Ming Dynasty with the name Hongwu after the Northern Expedition destroyed the Yuan Dynasty. During the reign of Zhu Yuanzhang, social production gradually recovered and developed, which was called "the rule of Hongwu" in history.
