In the history of China, there are many classic famous sentences, which contain philosophical thoughts or strong emotional colors, and so on, which are enough to be passed down through the ages.
"Those who openly commit crimes against the Han people will be punished even if they are far away", which shows the domineering national prestige of the Han people, and it is still exciting to read after a thousand years.
Many people have quoted many other famous sayings that make people feel deafening, so I won't repeat the work here. I will list a famous sentence that I think is good.
"Before the enemy leaves the country, making peace is a traitor."
This is a proposal made during War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
in October, 1938, Guangzhou and Wuhan successively fell, and there was an undercurrent in the Kuomintang that went against the trend of the Anti-Japanese War. The representative figure was Wang Jingwei, the vice president of the Kuomintang.
Mr. Chen Jiageng, Chairman of Nanyang Overseas Chinese Association for Relief of Motherland Refugees, who is far away in Singapore, was very angry when he heard that Wang Jingwei opposed the anti-Japanese war and advocated a peaceful compromise with Japan. He repeatedly called to persuade Wang Jingwei.
However, Wang Ching-wei stubbornly replied with the argument that "resisting aggression and not refusing peace are not contradictory", and even asked Chen Jiageng to help him persuade the overseas Chinese to agree with his proposition, which greatly disappointed Chen Jiageng.
On October 28th, 1938, the National Political Consultative Conference was held in Chongqing. Chen Jiageng, who is in Singapore, sent a telegram proposal to the Congress as a National Councillor.
The most important content in the telegram is the first sentence: "Before the Japanese invaders withdrew from our country, all civil servants talked about peace conditions with anyone as traitors and traitors ...".
the full text of this telegram has 11 words, which was later simplified and revised by the conference secretariat into eleven words: "Before the enemy leaves the country, peace is a traitor".
before the enemy leaves the country, making peace is a traitor!
just eleven words, concise and inspiring, gave a heavy blow to the peace faction at that time and aroused strong repercussions at home and abroad.
this proposal is no less than a blockbuster, which shocked Yu nei.
Zou Taofen, a famous patriot and political commentator, gave a very vivid description and spoke highly of this matter in his famous book Since the Anti-Japanese War:
"After the opening ceremony, there was a thunderbolt, and Chen Jiageng came from Singapore with a telegram proposal-'If the enemy makes peace, he will be a traitor'. These 11 words are not as good as tens of thousands of words, and it is the greatest proposal in ancient and modern times. "
before the enemy leaves the country, making peace is a traitor! This sentence is shocking enough to shine through the ages.
