The meaning and source of respecting Tao and being virtuous: Taoism's doctrine of respecting Tao and being virtuous is also derived from the statement in Tao Te Ching that "everything respects Tao and is virtuous".
Taoism respects Taoism because "Tao" is the main body of Taoist believers, and all Taoist beliefs and practices are centered on "Tao". To sum up, there are four main aspects:
First, "Tao" is the motive force and the root of creation in the universe.
secondly, Tao is the foundation of gods, which is transformed from ternary gasification to Sanqing, and it is shaped into a grand old gentleman.
thirdly, Tao has the greatest virtue, which takes nothingness as its body, quietness as its religion, weakness as its use, and inaction as its contention.
fourthly, "Tao" is really eternal, without birth or extinction, ever-present, ubiquitous and everlasting between heaven and earth. The greatness and sacredness of Tao can be said to be everywhere.
fifth, the Tao takes access as its meaning. According to the Taoist scriptures, "Tao" is the root of all things in the biochemical universe. She is so empty and silent that she is really wonderful, so she is a wonderful god.
