I finished reading Li Kaiyuan's sister books Qin Beng and Wang Chu in one month. The book objectively tells the story from the sudden demise of Qin, the rise of Chen Sheng, Xiang Shu in Jiangdong, the rise of Liu Bangpei's hero, the confrontation between Chu and Han in Xingyang, the defeat of overlord Xiang Yu, and the establishment of the Han Kingdom after Liu Bangs 500-year conquest and melee. After the collapse of Qin, the death of Chu and the prosperity of Han, historical dramas were staged in turn.
After reading the book, I meditated, and my heart surged, and I couldn't calm down for a long time. There are sighs, admiration, admiration, sighs and lamentations, but the meaning is still unfinished.
Since ancient times, the culture of Chu-Han rivalry has been a bright pearl in the long history. The Peking Opera Farewell My Concubine is based on the Battle of Gaixia. China's ten famous songs "House of Flying Daggers" perfectly interpreted the battle between Chu and Han with pipa; The chess pieces between the enemy and ourselves are bounded by the Han Dynasty and the Chu River. The dispute between Chu and Han left many well-known idioms for later generations, such as sneaking around, farewell my concubine, cross the rubicon and changing my name. There are many enduring allusions, such as the banquet at Hongmen, leg lifts and humiliation, and siege.
Although this history is very classic, you can know a thing or two from hearsay or out of context. Qin Beng and Wang Chu are relatively systematic and complete. After reading it, establish a clear context in your mind, just like a narrative, with clear time, place, characters, story and ending.
The result of the Chu-Han dispute is now known to all women and children, but it was more or less unexpected at that time. Because Xiang Yu is far superior to Liu Bang in birth, fame and military strength. Xiang Yu won 99 wars and lost 1 times. In the end, he won the world with one sword. Liu Bang, seemingly weak, unified the separatist situation and established the Great Han Kingdom. The reason is that "character determines fate" has played a vivid role in this history.
Although Xiang Yu is full of lofty sentiments and brave, he is arrogant and narrow-minded, headstrong and reckless. At the Hongmen banquet, a woman's kindness was shown. The world has rewards and fences, and nepotism is based on her own likes and dislikes ... and talents can't stay. Personality defects are obvious at a glance.
On the other hand, Liu Bang is forbearing, good at disguising, calculating and making good use of others. There are strategizing Sean inside, Han Xin who won a thousand miles outside, and Xiao He who recommended virtuous and caring outside, and gradually changed from weak to strong.
While solving the mystery of history, it also left us countless imagination spaces, which is the charm of history.
Hypothesis 1: At the Hongmen banquet, if Xiang Yu followed the advice of Fan Zeng, the counselor, and took the opportunity to assassinate Liu Bang, he blocked Liu Bang with four lines of defense in Hanzhong. Where did he tell the story of the darkness of the meridian, and where did he confront Xingyang for the next five years?
Hypothesis 2: Han Xin captured the State of Qi and made it the king of Qi. If Han Xin maintains a neutral attitude at this time and shares the world with Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, it will form a tripartite confrontation among the three countries. However, Han Xin rejected Xiang Yu's proposal to remain neutral and stand on his own feet as king, and rejected the advice of counselor Kuaipeng. Han Xin did this mainly because he was grateful to Liu Bang and lacked the political wisdom to assess the situation. Han Xin led the troops to go through the customs, destroyed Wei, attacked Daiguo, left Jingxingkou, attacked Zhao, subdued Yan, pacified Qi, and commanded the siege of Gaixia ... He made many outstanding achievements in his life. However, after the establishment of the Han State, Liu Bang immediately relieved Han Xin of his military power, and was finally assassinated by Lv Hou and Xiao He, so there was an eternal saying: Xiao He defeated Xiao He; I also answered that sentence: a sly rabbit dies, a running dog cooks, and a bird hides its bow. Sadly, what a pity, alas!
Hypothesis 3: Xiang Yu was defeated and ashamed to see his elders in Jiangdong draw their swords and commit suicide. If Xiang Yu didn't break Wang Huai's promise, he would enfeoffment the world with his likes and dislikes; If we hadn't given up Pengcheng, the capital of Guanzhong; If we don't kill 200,000 Qin Jun, we will lose the hearts and minds of the people. If Xiang Yu had reused Han Xin ... since ancient times, the winner is king, and the loser is kou. But reading Xiang Yu, even when he was under siege, was still impressed by his heroic demeanor, heroism, bravery and good fighting skills.
Hypothesis 4: Xiang Yu was 24 years old when he took refuge in his uncle Xiang Liang, and Wujiang was only 3 1 year old when he committed suicide; Liu Bang was a late bloomer and started at the age of 47. Xiang Yu was born in the old Chu Dynasty, and Liu Bang was born in an ordinary family in Fengyi Zhongyang. If the ages of Xiang Yu and Liu Bang are reversed, Xiang Yu's personality defects may be gradually smoothed by life, and he will not be so reckless and conceited in employing people and dealing with problems.
What has settled is that Liu Bang, who was born at the grassroots level, ended the long-term situation of division and confrontation, unified the Central Plains and established the Great Han Kingdom. Although Xiang Yu was defeated, how many people were moved by Xiang Yu's heroism like me, how many people were impressed by Xiang Yu's heroism like me, and how many people sighed like me. Du Muyou said in his poem: "It was a man who unexpectedly won or lost a military plan, but he felt ashamed and humiliated. The children of Jiangdong are brilliant, and it is unknown that they will make a comeback. " The feeling of regret is obvious. Li Qingzhao's "Life is a hero, and death is a ghost." I still miss Xiang Yu and refuse to cross Jiangdong. Praise is beyond words.
Life has no ifs, and history has no assumptions. History is always so unexpected, and history is always so mysterious. As the saying goes, "Before me, where was the lost time? History cannot be repeated; Behind me, where is the next generation? History is unpredictable; I think of heaven and earth, which is boundless and has a long history; I was alone, tears fell, and history comforted my soul. "
