Linxian County, Shanxi Province is an ancient and stable county with a large population and inconvenient transportation. In the old society, because of traffic jams, the relative mobility of the population was very small, so one side nourished one side with water and soil, and the other side had its own customs and language characteristics. Linxian dialect belongs to the Jin dialect area and is one of the typical dialect points in Jin dialect, but it has its own special pronunciation and dialect. Linxian dialect itself can be divided into three different pronunciations: Xian, Xi Shou and Xia Chuan. Linxian Yangko and Linxian Daoqing both use the local Linxian dialect.
