Brief introduction of the author

Since childhood, they have read a lot of poetry books, browsed a subset of Confucian classics and history, studied Chinese studies in simple terms, and knew all about Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism in China's traditional culture. He is also familiar with a hundred schools of thought, poetry and music, astronomical calendar, medical care and so on. He also has a deep understanding of western culture and is highly respected in both Chinese and western cultural circles. He is called "the first generation master".

Wonderful reading

Practice is the knowledge of wisdom, not as casual as practice; What I can tell you today is my wisdom, not my reading of Buddhist scriptures. It's in the Buddhist scriptures! But you can't read it either. You listen to me now and think you understand now. Do you think it's weird? Yes, I understand! You were just listening. This is called listening to people. When you heard that voice, you thought you understood, but you didn't prove it. You listened to me and told you, but you are reasonable. You have no proof, and you have no proof. What's the use of understanding it? Don't lie to yourself.

Our friends like to come over every night and say, teacher, it's more comfortable to watch you. Comfortable what! Sit there and listen to my brag, because going to the teahouse costs money, going to the ballroom costs money, drinking tea here and listening to my brag. I was so happy that I blew a meal. I didn't spend a penny. Sure. Nice to meet me. I lied to myself! They are all lying there, thinking that they are practicing. What can they do?

Therefore, I often say that if you really practice, you must understand Master Yongjia's two words: "What is the cause, not what is the cause". That is the liberation of wisdom, not hard work. If you really understand this truth, you need wisdom to get rid of it, not blind practice. Therefore, practice is a science. Make this clear first, and then prove it. We can't do it without proof.

We talked for a long time, but the deceased was still in a state of unintentional death, and the bardo had not woken up. Because I want to talk about this bardo, I immediately found that there are many related truths that must be understood first, so I stopped to talk for a long time.

Now let's come back and talk about this man's death. When the bardo was about to be born, suddenly, he seemed to wake up. At this time, when I want to wake up, the Buddhist scriptures tell us that a strong light is coming. However, you should pay attention to Buddhist scriptures and don't be fooled. This light is not the light of the sun, the light of the moon, the light of the electric lamp, all the light, but the light of wisdom. It's like asking you, how do we know when to wake up? People don't know, but when they wake up, they know that it is the light of wisdom. Now when we wake up, we feel awake before we open our eyes. This is the second idea. The first thought, after we have slept enough, bang! This is an example, bang! The light switch is also turned on. This belongs to light, the light of wisdom, not tangible. But sometimes it is tangible. For example, we wake up in the morning, or at noon, alas … I wake up. You turned on the light in a daze, and sometimes you have some experiences occasionally, right? The light was in a daze.

Therefore, after death, it is like waking up when you were born in Yin Zhong. This stage is called bardo, as if we were living together. I feel that I have a body, I can see and hear, but I find: huh? They are all crying ... ouch! I am dead! Cry for yourself. Oh, don't cry. He's still here to help you. Don't cry. Don't be sad when I leave. Not only can he hear it here, but he also hears crying in a foreign country. After listening to it together, he advised you to go abroad to persuade others. In an instant, he crossed, and the magical power was really vast.

This body is called bardo, just like the dream body. Think about it, do you have a body in your dream? Yes When you see delicious food, you will feel fragrant, cry, laugh, feel that the fire will be hot, the water will be cold, the knife will cut you, it will bleed and it will hurt. This is the truth of the yin body. The bardo is like a dream. If you see something you are afraid of in your dream, you have to run even if you are afraid of death, right? So is Yin Zhong. Why use the word "body"? Because there are also the functions of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and consciousness, as well as thoughts, which are all born of idealism, but it has this function. In other words, he has no real eyes, nose, tongue, ears, brain and body, but he can see everything. He can perceive color, sound, fragrance, taste, touch and methods. It's called bardo.

Ok, now let's talk about the birth of bardo. However, at the beginning of today, I want to tell you that the foundation of Buddhism is sansheng causality, which is the six divisions in the wheel of karma. Six paths have many life functions. What I told you today is humanitarian and normal life and death, right? I have never talked about the life and death of other lives, let alone the sudden death of others. Everyone should remember that if there is no such logic in class, don't come to my class. Don't get it wrong, and don't be biased. Remember, this is about the normal death of human beings.

In fact, it is not easy to have a bardo after death. Good people who have done a lot of good things in this life practice, but there is no bardo after death. When such people die, they immediately ascend to heaven. Or a successful monk or family member dies in Elysium or other Buddhist places. Sometimes he has just caught his breath and arrived there without passing through Yin Zhong or stopping over. The bad guys will become hungry ghosts, animals or go to hell at once, and they will go down immediately without a vagina. Therefore, it's hard to say that Bado can stay.

When I first started studying Buddhism, one class was an old-timer studying tantric Buddhism, and everyone took good care of me. Maybe I owe them one. We were chatting together, and the old-timer asked me: Hey, hey, brother, there are two places where the bardo can't go, do you know? I said I know. Some are questioning me, and some really don't know. Which two places? One is that you can't enter the Bodhi Dojo, which is a place of enlightenment. For example, Sakyamuni Buddha meditates under the bodhi tree, but his state, yin body, can't get in. When he comes in, he becomes enlightened and becomes a Buddha. In other words, there is a meditation hall. As we are discussing this issue here now, the bardo can't get in, except for all the protectors in my mind. Please let them in and listen, and then get married. Otherwise, the light of wisdom can't get in.
