There is no special format for reporting letters. Reporters can write reporting letters according to their own habits, as long as they can state the facts of the reporting. However, if it can be written in a clear format, it will be easier for reporting staff to read and obtain valuable reporting information. Report letters can generally be divided into five parts:
(1) Title. For example, "Report on Wang's suspected corruption crime", "Report on Zhang's bribery", so that the reporting staff can understand the content of the reporting letter at a glance.
(2) Beginning. The name of the unit that receives the report should be written directly at the beginning of the report letter, such as "Report Center of the Procuratorate of XX". Then write down the basic information of the reporter and the person being reported. The basic information of the informant and the person being reported includes the personal name, gender, age, ethnicity, place of origin, occupation, address, or the name, address, name of the legal representative of the unit, etc., and the position of the person being reported should be highlighted. If there are multiple persons being reported, the basic information of the persons being reported should be listed in order (of course, if the report is made anonymously, the reporter does not have to list the basic information of the person reporting).
(3) Cause of action. The person being reported is suspected of committing crimes, such as corruption, bribery, etc.
(4) Report the facts. This is the key to the report letter and the main basis for the report center to handle the report. It should be written in as much detail as possible. The facts that the reported person is suspected of committing a crime must include the time, place, means, circumstances and consequences of the reported crime. When introducing the facts of the report, be realistic and do not exaggerate, let alone make things out of thin air, and do not write too much about your own suspicions and speculations. All reported facts should be listed in a certain order, and the evidence and sources of evidence that prove the person being reported is suspected of committing a crime should be listed.
(5) Ending. At the end, you can write down your views on the case and make some specific requirements. The informant shall sign and stamp the letter, and indicate the time when the letter was written.
