Its designer has found inspiration from nature, including small rocks found in islands, the fishscale , reflections on water, and the flavor of tar on wood. All these natural elements are reinterpreted and reproduced in the pavilion in a new way. Six elements of a better life—freedom, creation, innovation, communication, health and nature are incorporated into the building of the pavilion as well as its spatial and functional design.
The architecture is featured by the flooring of best-quality Finland wood and beautifully lit snow-cave or cloudlike structures.
