The dance drama A Dream of Red Mansions is adapted from A Dream of Red Mansions, one of China's classical Four Great Classical Novels. The whole play consists of preface and two acts and four scenes. Taking the emotional entanglement of Bao Dai and Chai as the main line, combined with solo dance, duet, threesome dance, five-person dance, group dance and other forms, the scenes such as Bao Dai's first encounter, Grandma Liu's admission to the garden, Haitang Poetry Society, Daiyu's burial of flowers, wedding shock and Bao Dai's reunion are displayed.
