Timber import customers need to provide fumigation certificate, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, bill of lading and other information. The general process is as follows!
1. Exchange the bill of lading after the goods arrive at the port designated by the customer.
2. (or do it at the same time) declare for commodity inspection in advance and issue a commodity inspection form.
3. Get the customs clearance form and make a formal customs declaration.
4. Pay value-added tax on the approved price (13% for logs and 17% for cubic wood).
5. Tax payment is approved and released.
6. Hauling in the port, waiting in line to arrange disinfection, quarantine, and sanitation treatment.
7. Signing, picking up the goods and leaving the port, it takes half a day.
In addition, it depends on whether it is endangered. If so, you need to apply for an endangered species certificate.
