Treaty of nanking (Jiangning Treaty) is the first unequal treaty that foreign invaders forced the Qing government to sign in China's modern history. 1842 (twenty-two years of Daoguang) On August 29th, the imperial envoys Jiao Ying and Ibrahimovic of the Qing government and British plenipotentiary Pu Dingcha signed the Treaty on Ending the Opium War in Nanjing. Treaty of nanking was the first unequal treaty in modern China, which was the result of British invasion of China-the first Opium War.
