Taiwan Province data center is expected to be completed by the end of 20 12 and officially opened in the second half of 20 13. The whole data center is planned by Google as a whole, and combined with a large number of local related industries in Taiwan Province Province, from soil assessment to avoiding the damage of salty soil to precision electronic products in the data center, to server procurement, cooling system and network construction.

The biggest feature of Google Taiwan Province data center is energy-saving technology. Google claims to take advantage of the large temperature difference between day and night in the coastal areas of Zhang Bin Industrial Zone. At night, Google uses excess electricity to introduce low-temperature water stored outdoors for cooling, and provides system cooling during the day, without adding any chemicals in the middle process, and finally discharges it in the form of steam for recycling, without discharging any waste water or extracting seawater.
Taiwan Province Data Center This is the first time that Google has adopted this cooling system, which can reduce energy consumption by half compared with traditional data centers, while the data centers in Hongkong and Singapore will use other localized methods to provide the most suitable cooling system to reduce energy consumption.
Taiwan Provincial Center predicts that the energy application efficiency of servers can reach 1. 14 TFlop/W PUE, which is at least 2 TFlop/W compared with ordinary data centers. PUE？ Most importantly, the overall power consumption performance ratio has increased by nearly 50%. Google not only simply built a data center, but also considered the important conditions of environmental sustainable development from the beginning of planning.
