I. Usage
When in use, the user first inputs the required characters through the graphics editing and processing software installed in the computer and matched with the engraving machine, and sets the required font and size, or makes the required graphics. After completing the design of the required engraving content, the user can send instructions to the engraving machine through the computer. The engraving knife controlled by computer and driven by engraving machine engraves the characters and images that have been designed on the computer on the carvings (usually post-it notes and plastic films). Engraving machines can also be used to cut paper or carve materials on thin metal paper.
Second, the installation
The installation steps of the engraving machine are as follows:
1. Unpack the packing box, and clean the fixing tape and anti-collision objects of the car of the engraving machine first;
2. Connect the engraving machine and the power socket with the attached power cord;
3. Connect the engraving machine and computer with the communication cable provided randomly;
4. Insert the tool holder or pen holder into the tool holder of the engraving machine, and tighten and fix the tool holder or pen holder;
5. Turn on the power supply;
6. Place the medium and put down the press wheel (note: the position of the press wheel should be at the edge of the medium and ensure that the position does not deviate from the work area);
7. Set parameters (computer settings: a, select the model; B, select the port and set the traffic mode. Setting of engraving machine: a, setting coordinate origin; B, adjust the tool depth, etc. );
8. Self-inspection test of engraving machine;
9. Test the engraving machine by transmitting data through the computer, and it will be ready if it can output normally.
Matters needing attention in the use of engraving machine
1, the commonly used power supply is AC 220v v.50hz. When connecting the power supply, first make sure that the power switch of the engraving machine is in the off position, then plug one end of the power cord into the power socket of the engraving machine and connect the other end with the power socket.
2. When not working, turn off the power first, and then pull the power plug out of the socket. Never plug in the power when the power is turned on. When plugging and unplugging the power plug, do not use excessive force to avoid damaging the connector.
3. After the engraving machine is turned off, the time interval for restarting it should not be less than 30 seconds.
4. Connect the serial and parallel cables to ensure that the power supply of the engraving machine and computer is disconnected.
5. Connect one end of the parallel cable (pin plug) to the parallel socket of the computer, and lock the plug on the socket with the manual locking screw provided on the plug; The other end is connected to the parallel socket of the engraving machine, and the plug and socket should be fastened with the steel wire buckle on the parallel socket.
6. Connect one end of the serial cable (pinhole plug) to the serial socket of the computer and the other end to the serial socket of the engraving machine, and lock the plugs at both ends of the cable on the socket with the manual locking screws provided on the plugs. Both serial and parallel cables can work normally.
7. The height of the drawing pen tip exposed from the tool rest should be adjusted according to the thickness of the material. The pen tip is too long or too short, and the drawing quality cannot be guaranteed. To do this, please use the attached drawing pen.
Causes of engraving machine failure
1, out-of-step phenomenon
(1) The paper roll is not put down, the desktop is too dirty, there is instant glue residue, the belt is too tight, and the pressure of the pinch roller is too high, resulting in excessive motor resistance;
(2) The power supply voltage is too low;
(3) The speed is too high, the knife pressure is too high, the tip of the knife is too long, the dragging paper is too long, and the idle speed is too high;
(4) The drive circuit is abnormal, please contact the dealer.
2. Deviation phenomenon
(1) Post-it notes were not placed correctly at first: if the 60cm paper is placed with a deviation of 0.6mm, it will deviate from left to right by 5 mm at a distance of 5 meters;
(2) The desktop is too dirty or there is glue residue, resulting in unbalanced resistance on both sides when the paper moves, leading to gradual deflection and left-right deviation; (3) Wear and deformation of pinch rollers, or mismatch of pinch rollers, will lead to left and right deviation, and the left and right pinch rollers should be slightly conical and symmetrical;
(4) The pressure of the press roller is too small or the pressure of the two press rollers does not match, so the paper is easily deflected by external force, and the press roller pressure needs to be adjusted;
(5) The weight before and after instant pasting is not equal (for example, the front is short and the back is too long, and the engraving is complicated, which will lead to a gradual backward deviation. At this time, it is best to connect a piece of paper counterweight at the front end);
(6) Out-of-step motor leads to deviation (only when the load is too heavy).
3, some words will be carved or rotten.
(1) The tip is too long;
(2) impurities are brought into the tool rest bearing, which makes the tip rotate badly and causes bad angles;
(3) The tip compensation is too large.
4, engraving machine graffiti
(1) The software setting is inappropriate: the engraving machine type should be one that supports this type of language. If you choose other types of engraving machines, you will inevitably scribble or crash; Another example is to turn off the tip compensation (low-speed fine print below 1CM can turn on the tip compensation, but the compensation value should be reasonable);
(2) serial port and parallel port are connected at the same time;
(3) The engraving file is interrupted before output;
(4) operate the keyboard when the parallel port transmits data;
(5) The lettering software has been damaged, or the computer has virus infection;
(6) There is electric welding nearby, or there is interference from electric tools such as radio stations and machine tools. Communication using parallel ports is sensitive to external interference. If the external interference is strong, serial communication is recommended);
(7) If an inappropriate regulated power supply is used, such as the relay regulated power supply of household appliances, strong interference will occur at the moment when the relay is turned on and off, resulting in communication data errors;
(8) Ram failure.
