Legal analysis: 1. Resident ID card: I go to the ID card acceptance window with my household registration book and ID card-> ID card acceptance window acceptance-> Studio photography-> Fingerprint collection-> Check the information of the registration form for resident ID card application and sign it for confirmation-> Pay the fee and get the receipt at the ID card acceptance window.

2. Temporary resident ID card: I apply for a temporary resident ID card at the ID card acceptance window of the county (city, district) public security bureau where my household registration is located with my household registration book and my ID card certificate.

Legal basis: Article 2 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Resident Identity Cards, China citizens who have reached the age of 16 and live in People's Republic of China (PRC) shall apply for resident identity cards in accordance with the provisions of this Law; China citizens under the age of 16 may apply for resident identity cards in accordance with the provisions of this Law.
