Fixed loss is the key link of auto insurance claims. Although it is not the owner's responsibility to determine the loss, it needs the owner's participation, so it is very necessary to understand the related matters of determining the loss.
Loss determination process:
First, the relevant staff of the loss center confirm the identity of the insured or its principal.
Then, provide as detailed information as possible to the relevant staff of the loss center. Identity card, driving license, driver's license, insurance policy (voucher), traffic accident confirmation (handled by traffic police), on-site investigation record (handled by insurance company) and other relevant materials provided by the loss adjuster according to the needs of the case.
Then we can arrange the loss. After the accident vehicle is towed to the damage assessment center, there will be full-time staff to receive the customer and fill out the Reception Sheet for Disassembly and Inspection of Accident Vehicle, and at the same time inform the damage assessment personnel of the situation. The loss assessor shall inspect and take photos of the accident vehicle, and after knowing the details of the case, sign the Receipt for Dismantling the Accident Vehicle, which is deemed necessary. This form must be signed and agreed by the insured or his client before it can be handed over to full-time dismantling personnel for dismantling the accident vehicle.
