Original song: beyond?

Lyrics: Liu Zhuohui.

Music: Ka Kui Wong

I hope you don't secretly cry for me anymore. I don't want to keep a low profile?

Your heart is empty. I hope you won't make me feel too guilty again.

I quiet inside, you don't have to be intoxicated.

Whoops, do you know who wants to go home?

Who is there between you and me, fate, love or innocence?

Or accidents, tears, guilt and dedication?

Patience, man or wall or winter?

Hidden in your eyes, do you have a fantasy of one day and one night?

I can't wait to meet you in the distance after I don't go.

Look at the sea every day, and be relative every day.

I hope you're not afraid to let me not go now, even if I leave?

In your sky, woo, you know?

Who wants to go home, who is between you and me?

Is it fate, love, innocence or chance?

Tears, guilt, dedication and patience

Is a person, a wall or a cold winter, hidden in the eyes.

I have fantasies day after day and can't wait.

How many ups and downs in spring and autumn, how many bumpy love.

How many sighs do you have in the sea of people? Is it fate, love or innocence?

Or accidents, tears, guilt and dedication?

Patience, man or wall or winter?

Hidden in your eyes, do you have a fantasy of one day and one night?

can't wait

Extended data:

Lover is the music work of Beyond, a Hong Kong rock band in China. This song was composed by Ka Kui Wong, while the Cantonese version was composed by Liu Zhuohui and solo by Ka Kui Wong. Released in May 1993, included in the album Joy and Fury. 1998, Beyond adapted "Lover" into a Mandarin version, which was composed and sung by Lin and included in Beyond's album "Here and There".

Creative background:

Many people mistakenly think that Lover is a song written by Ka Kui Wong to Hong Kong fans, but it is not. On this issue, Liu Zhuohui, the lyricist of Lover, once said in his book A Study of Cantonese Popular Lyrics in Hong Kong that the words in Lover are not easy to understand, but what he wants to write is actually the emotional relationship between China and Hong Kong.

"Lover" is not about the simple feelings between men and women, but about the difficulties and barriers between a Hong Kong resident and a mainlander in the early 1990s. The "wall" in Lover is actually a geographical boundary, including cultural differences. The barrier is like a third party. The original song of "Lover" is called "Mainland Lover".

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Beyond, Qi Hang Entertainment will hold the "Beyond Legend 35th Anniversary Exhibition" in the second phase of D2 Plaza in Lai Chi Kok in May. This is the first time that Beyond has held a large-scale exhibition in a shopping mall, and there are many mysterious surprises that have never been publicly exhibited. Exhibits include: unpublished fragments of past stories, guitars and supplies used by the band, signed posters, handwritten manuscripts, gold and platinum records obtained by Beyond, and limited stores (exclusive products) of Beyond products.
